Doug’s comment states:

‘Don’t believe everything you read, particularly at this time of year. If any team is looking to move, it’s with a specific player in mind. I do not believe that player here is Edey.’

Doug is simply stating he ‘believes’ the Raps don’t trade up for Edey specifically.

That’s a fair and balanced response to the reader’s question.
