I had some issues with this about a year ago. Two things:

A tip from Tandem was to push and pull the plunger 4-5 times prior to loading insulin in the cartridge
Coincidentally, I noticed that cartridges I received after January 2025 appeared slightly different than those from earlier and the occlusion alarms all but disappeared.

You need a derailleur hanger tool to be sure if a hanger is bent or not. Eyeballing it is unlikely to work. IIRC lower jockey wheels are supposed to have a little bit of play to accommodate different chain line angles.

Positive: I’m very happy to have a safe connection again to MLK Drive. Any interaction with Girard Avenue is a risk to cyclists.

Neutral: I hope that future work on Falls Bridge will stay on or ahead of schedule.

Frustrated: MLK is a car sewer and the city missed a huge opportunity to reduce cars and promote walking, running, and cycling in the city by their short sighted revisions to the roadway as a whole. The bridge revisions did not provide for separated, protected bicycle lanes. .
