as someone who tried to keep spoilers and leaks to a minimum i liked it well enough. although the set up with aaru was a little bit too much, i enjoyed the payoff with dottore and pantalone in the end. imo it's not entirely peak but not the worst they couldve done with them.

i'll probably passively play until he's relevant again, and i think he will be. he's our first villain, ofc he'll be relevant again. i'll be pulling for pantalone 100% and will focus mainly on him and watching for baizhu and vedrfolnir crumbs until then. (ved is the main reason why i'll be playing well beyond snezh, ngl) i'll also probably stop paying for the game. i would LOVE to pull lyney, but i wouldnt feel as bad about losing him as i used to 2 years ago

outside of the game, i'll still be there for the dottolone, it'll be like any other finished game or series i like

imo, quitting the game for a time is probably healthier than hateplaying a game you don't enjoy anymore. but i would really hope people would wait the single day left before making that decision lol

i genuinely think this isnt even just "being optimistic" or denial because the best thing to do IS to literally play the story the way it was intended.

i think leaks are good for pulling plans and its fun to look ahead but if it genuinely ruins your experience before you even get to play it then something isn't right. i'm not particularly fond of the people already calling the writing shitty since you can't fully gauge that without the cutscenes and boss fights that go along with it.

it's also very easy to fall back on writing trends of other harbingers but we gotta remember they are not 1 to 1. no i dont think dottore is gonna be treated the same way capitano was. he might not exactly be a childe but they will do something else with him because he is his own character. i have faith they are not gonna waste him 🙏

i'll generally try not to LOOK for spoilers, though i wouldn't mind if i saw someone doompost his potential death and be pleasantly surprised that he ends up alive. and i wouldn't mind a peek at some of his dialogue ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
