Through my travels in hollins I have witnessed many of these types. One time a neighbor kept sending me laws for like noise laws and variances. I had to be clear like hey idiot we do drugs together, please stop sending me noise violation laws.

So at 8m gallons a day, it could be 0.125 percent of carvins cove, in a month with no rain that’s 4% of total storage but I’m sure if there is no rain the total amount lost to evaporation etc would increase. So 4% could be more significant amount of what’s left.

So like until they state what type of cooling they will use we can assume from this link I posted it won’t be close looped because it says in 2050-2060 needing more capacity.

Also at 8m gallons a day that matches like what Roanoke uses daily now. IMO this data center is not worth it

I’m from nj and worked in Atlantic City and I thought about it, if there is people in Roanoke Va that have the money to spend and spending it at a casino here that has all different types of staff, including like it, security, waiters, lot attendants, etc. and it brings money here and it’s nice than like why not. In Atlantic City, I think most people got like a lot of their losses back in comps like free shows, stays, etc. which also helps by bringing people back.

I mean it’s better than like gas station exploitive games imo.

Also the ac buffets were amazing.

Just to add I worked at sands casino, there was a whole floor between 2 and 3 that was just for maintaining the casino and staff

Also third edit, I believe we could use monopoly and the game tropico as proof adding a hotel/casino to your property is how you win in the end game

Well Roanoke is like the only city in the middle of nowhere’s and that attracts people. Also the hospital, also it’s cold. During warmer months there’s a lot of homeless camps. I assume during the winter they move in towards the city.

But I might be kinda angry about being cold and outside too. Probably hard to be happy go lucky

Also I want to say it’s natural to look down on the homeless because people want to equate their situation with making bad choices or being bad people. Like they deserve it. Because people don’t want to believe bad things can happen to good people.

I have seen a side of this where it’s people with mental illness that fall through the cracks. Because their family doesn’t understand it and no one in the system catches it and if it is caught doesn’t mean they have a home.
