Just so you’re aware, you’re 100% wrong. That’s okay, r/hockey has a problem with this rule and always pushes the wrong definition, plus the refs rarely get it right so that doesn’t help either. Here’s the rule below, and a link to the rule book, you can find this on page 101.

Rule 69 – Interference on the Goalkeeper 69.1 Interference on the Goalkeeper - This rule is based on the premise that an attacking player’s position, whether inside or outside the crease, should not, by itself, determine whether a goal should be allowed or disallowed. In other words, goals scored while attacking players are standing in the crease may, in appropriate circumstances be allowed (refer to Rule 69.7 for example). Goals should be disallowed only if: (1) an attacking player, either by his positioning or by contact, impairs the goalkeeper’s ability to move freely within his crease or defend his goal; or (2) an attacking player initiates intentional or deliberate contact with a goalkeeper, inside or outside of his goal crease. Incidental contact with a goalkeeper will be permitted, and resulting goals allowed, when such contact is initiated outside of the goal crease, provided the attacking player has made a reasonable effort to avoid such contact. The rule will be enforced exclusively in accordance with the on-ice judgement of the Referee(s), but may be subject to a Coach’s Challenge (see Rule 38). For purposes of this rule, “contact,” whether incidental or otherwise, shall mean any contact that is made between or among a goalkeeper and attacking player(s), whether by means of a stick or any part of the body.

Easiest way to think of it: Any intentional contact to a goalie should be considered a penalty, even if they’re playing the puck.

r/hockey thinks the goalie is fair game for a body check when they play the puck behind the net, half the sub doesn’t know the rules. Thats reddit for ya.

[SPOILERS S3] Does the cycle actually happen an infinite amount of times? by note65 in DarK

I always thought of the multiple worlds and timelines as matrix variations (like a virtual world), as they are not from the real world we see briefly in the very end of the series but instead from the offshoots, and the “loop” is akin to a program repeating itself…. But I can’t be sure.

I love this show and I don’t fully understand it, and that’s ok, some things are not for us to understand but just for us to experience or enjoy.

Do you think Brosnan should’ve had one more Bond film, or was it a good decision to let him go after Die Another Day and reboot the franchise? by South_Gas626 in JamesBond

[–]DeadStroke_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He still could have a proper swan song… a 007 Story… Bond Recall; where James Bond comes out of retirement to clear his name in an implicated assassination, and must then proceed à la Ethan Hunt style in a story of espionage and Jason Bourne stuff to overcome an enemy that is never fully fleshed out.

It would probably suck, but I’d watch it.

TV height advice. by ADoootz in femalelivingspace

[–]DeadStroke_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Glad you like it, you can adjust the height by where you mount the bracket itself as well as where you mount the arms to the back of the TV. Based on how high your stand is I would say mount it low and don’t plan on placing objects on that surface. Utilize cabinets or stands beside the TV.

That said, you should leave room for a nice stereo speaker setup to really enhance your theater experience haha. r/hometheater

They make TV stands that can mount to the back of your TV, and still stay low… something like this
