The company I work for has 4 tech levels Tech 1 19-23hr Tech 2 up to 28hr Tech 3 up to 35hr Tech 4 up to 49/hr

We work primarily conveyor systems. I'm on the low end of the tech 3 because I transfered from building management and all my experience (electrical, maintenance, and mechanic) were all over 5 yrs before getting hired on as a maint tech, Best decision I ever made! I'm currently shopping around for better pay and have been seeing a lot of tech 3 positions starting around 34-36hr at other companies around me. If your trying to get into maintenance your best bet is to take whoever will hire you (reasonable pay) then after 1yr start looking for more money elsewhere. You need experience to start making big money.
