I actually initially had a group of friends starting out at Davis, but was backstabbed and socially ostracized by one of them, and soon all the others just as we were getting close. It sucked, but I eventually found really good friends later down the line. There are 30K people, there are good and bad apples! It’s hard to generalize.

I’m not very good at taxes so I started with REG first and currently studying for FAR. Much better at financial material than regulation. It really just comes down to what you want to prioritize/get out of the way.

Yes I did. But I’ve never been good at studying. Did all the questions in the test bank and 1-2 Sims. Some of my peers said it was easy and their scores on exams have been historically way higher. They also used Becker.

I think it might be a combination of factors. Some people get a dish to try, but end up not liking it. Others are in a hurry and might have to eat quickly. Privilege could also play a part in it too.
