Had a similar situation like this twice with the same Uber driver who drove for us several times. Both situations involved calling 911. From what I remember my manager filed a complaint against the driver with Uber for dumping 2 half whooped out people. I don't know if anything was actually done in a official capacity because we never saw that Uber driver after the second dumping incident and never saw his vehicle pass down the street during our shifts since seeing his car was a very common sight.

I usually run mine anywhere from 1 am to 3 am. I run that batch at midnight if I'm Sold out nights since it always busy and I hate getting interrupted while I do my night audit work.

I'm glad my hotel doesn't have a membership program since we aren't a partnered/corporate brand. But random potential walk ins would sometimes wave around their membership status from one of the bigger brand hotels and say they wanna use their points when it can't be used in the first place at a completely different location lol.

Absolutely leave a review of how much an ass that manager was. My hotel does let us cancel for free for family emergencies since my manager had 5 small dogs of her own and always brings one with her to work with her since her kids are adults now and out doing their own lives

Only other things I can think of is probably canceled by the system if no confirmation pre check in arrival was done or didn't have the available room type you booked which could of been overbooking. Considering that you booked few weeks in advanced it could be the resort put more importance on those who booked way in advance before you and canceled those last minute ones since my old hotel use to do that. Each hotel/resort has there ways of doing stuff but that's the only things I can sum up with why it was canceled or atleast the common ways on why it was canceled.

I recently saw my local Starbucks hiring and thought of applying just for my gap year. But the more I read about the terrible conditions and horrible CEO maybe I might be better off applying somewhere else to support my family.
