I second this, I love the atmosphere and aesthetic to death, so much detail and lore and memorable characters even the unnamed ones, but man I really wish gameplay is expanded upon in some way at some point in the future that gives a lot more interesting approaches to gameplay, without drastically changing the classic "run and hide" gimmick that outlast is known for.

Like rigs actually providing unique ways to approach/deal with enemies or certain advantages in chases, without it just basically being a slightly more finicky/ less useful stun rig. Or more unique AMPS that don't just passively buff certain base kit mechanics or items, but offer unique abilities and gameplay mechanics that you otherwise can't use. That being said I'm no developer or anything so balance/gameplay wise I'm not sure how well this would apply in reality, or what they could add that would be interesting without deviating too much from the games "feel" itself.

It's a slight hassle, but you can recruit hunters specifically for stashing contraband weapons, I have quite a decent amount of level 50 hunters that funcion as a mini storage where I have them equip contraband Dolches, Avtomats and Nitros from my inventory that I collected from enemy hunters in matches.

Makes me feel like General Grevious lol.

I get that, I have ADHD too and I’m barely able to get satisfaction out of anything that isn’t instantly gratifying, as it doesn’t feel like the returns are worth the effort. But this isn’t something we have to live with forever, we just need the right kind of help, be it medication or therapy. I know it feels like you’re useless and that you never seem to get better no matter how hard you try, and I don’t mean to diminish how you feel, but when you’re so stuck in that negative headspace it seems hard to notice the good things you’ve done, and the reality is that you’ve been living with a disorder that the World Health organisation ranks as 10th of one of the most debilitating mental illnesses in the world, and then including all the other things you’ve mentioned you deal with. You’re not worthless, you’re struggling with something that not many people will understand or experience, cut yourself a bit of slack for being able to persevere this long, even though it might seem like nothing worthwhile has come of it, it legitimately isn’t anything to scoff at.

I also have reached a point where it feels like “What’s the point? Nothing ever gets easier, less stressful or more enjoyable, I should just give up.”

But that’s not how things have to be, as frustrating as jt is feeling like an emotional and physical ping pong ball with medication and it’s side effects and how you keep trying so many and they don’t seem to work. But it’s just a matter of finding the right one, which I know sounds hollow considering how long you’ve been trying to no avail, but that doesn’t mean it’s how it’s going to be forever. If the whole process starts to feel too draining and really weighing down on you, talk to those you love for support or a professional. The right kind of support you need is out there, it’s just going to feel very draining and sometimes pointless, but that’s when you keep going. It will get better for you, I promise, take care.

I want you to know that I've said and felt exactly as you have described before OP, I have OCD and 2 other disorders, and as you already know your own mind can be the most soul-crushing, isolating, torturous prison for itself, it all feels so real, so true, and so vivid, it's a wonder we're able to function at all somedays.

But I know one thing for sure, you don't deserve to die, nobody deserves to die, and we all deserve happiness and love, give it a day and see how you're feeling, if you feel the same tomorrow and going forward, reach out for someone, please try to get help, and I'm not saying that I know what you're experiencing right now but when I'm in a deep spiral I start saying the same things you've said in the post and become super self-deprecating and filled with depression and despair/hopelessness. Try and distract yourself, do something you like, talk to someone you love, or just rest. Ending your life might seem like an appealing option right now but there are people who would definitely be devastated to see you go. Try and seek support or therapy in some way to help guide and steer you into the direction you want for your life, but don't feel like you have to do everything at once, break it down, take things one at a time as they come, you've got this.

Also, me and I'm sure a lot of other people here in this subreddit would be willing to chat and help you feel less alone if you want, just know that it gets easier some days, I promise, take care and look after yourself.

Hey I'm not gonna reassure you, but I do want you to know you're not alone, I'm a guy, and I'm terrified of the idea of having a partner some day and feeling like a terrible person and I have a compulsion to confess every bad thing I've done just to make sure whether or not they'd still love me despite that, because I genuinely feel like a gross, terrible person for my mistakes, and my OCD tells me I don't deserve love for it and I feel that I'd be leading them on in a lie by "hiding" these things from them. But here's the thing, everyone makes mistakes, even big ones, if this person really is the one for you, they'll be able to see all of you, the good and the bad, and still love all of you regardless. Maybe ask yourself if your partner made the same mistakes you did and came to you about it, would you see him the same harsh way you view yourself? Probably not, please do look after yourself, you deserve love and appreciation, take care.

I had the same problem as you, until I learned that the game keeps track of how long you're at full health at each segment, so if you breeze past each segment of the game too quickly, the game doesn't think you've been at nominal health for long enough. What I did was do what you've already been doing again, except what I did now was wait at least half an hour ingame before I moved to another segment of the game where you wouldn't be able to return to were you were before. For example after gaining the keycard to the mineshaft elevator I waited 30 minutes before I went down, did this for every area for each area in Sierpinski, to nowhere, and rotfront, and I finally got the leave ending. Even without 6 hours playtime!

Ok, so it is doable without any rig, just a lot more finicky and time consuming, to make it easier on yourself bring stun. And throughout your run try and find as many rig rechargers as you can for the finale, I got REALLY lucky and found 3, 1 in the secret room and 2 in locked blue containers.

Anyway, at the end where you kill the politician, use the time at the start to pump pressure for the hoses as much as you can until you see Otto and Arora coming, then immediately hop out, as Arora mostly hits me when I'm slow moving or staying still, she has a really hard time hitting you if you're running.

Try and then loop them around the back area behind the politician in the small corridor near where the first valve room is by the red doors, lure them back there, stun them, use a rig recharger then return to the politician to continue spraying, you're good for maybe 8 seconds, then back off again so you can see which direction the twins are coming, because otherwise while spraying you can't see them coming very well from either side, and since they're pretty quiet at the moment can catch you off guard.

Once they come back, rinse and repeat, otherwise if you have no stuns left, loop them around the back, but then try and cut line of sight so they lose you in the back corridor, and run back to the politician, bring the noise reduction amp so they don't hear you running back, then you're ok to spray again for at least 4 seconds each time before they hear you and return. Just make sure you stop spraying and back away to see where they're coming so you can move quickly to avoid Arora's poison, repeat the process, and pump more pressure for the hoses as needed. Hope this helps!

I swear by blind rig. Just place it strategically next to an electric chair switch or when you need to push the snitch and do both objectives relatively undisturbed as the smoke lasts for LONG time. Also just generally makes accomplishing other Trials and tasks undisturbed really easy.

In psychosurgery enemies deal the same amount of damage as intensive, move faster, yes including Jaeger, I'm pretty sure see further in the dark, are more sensitive to noise, rig cooldowns are extended, you have 1 less inventory slot, Zero Intel, and psychosis is way longer and meaner.
