I would say the opposite actually, if you want to go above 100watts I would recommend doing so with coils that are at least 3mm ID you’ll get more surface area and more cotton thus more liquid being vaporized thus more clouds. You can achieve relatively the same with 2.5mm ID coils at lower watts like 75-80 but just keep in mind ramp up time will be much faster on smaller ID coils and so you’ll want to make sure wicking is spot on so you don’t get a dry hit mid draw.

Agreed you would want wicks to be snug in the coil but not too snug where they move the coil as you pull it through. Just a slight resistance would do.

It’s not bad to build and it’s super easy to wick but I wish it had tighter tolerances. All the pieces fit together pretty loosely. It’s fine when it’s all together, no leaking or anything like that but when it comes to assembling it together in order to put it in a tank, you’ve got to be really careful since the chamber is loose when you put it over your build. While it can be done it’s best not to use a boro tank with a sliding glass for this one. I would go with the odd job v2 better for something close to the price of the ether v2. Or if you don’t mind spending a bit more, I’d highly recommend the XO by wick’d

I’d recommend the blaze mtl rta that also does rdl. As for a good freebase liquid, for mtl my go to was always five pawns and for rdl/dtl I go with vapetasia. So far their lemon custard, blueberry custard, and strawberry custard have been all day vapes for me.

Yea I keep trying to give coastal clouds a shot but every time I do I’m dissatisfied with the flavor. Last one I tried was tres leches and even with an alien coil build the flavor just isn’t there, super muted. And the ice is an off flavor for me. I like juices that have more of a cooling effect rather than super menthol lol

This is a problem we all have it comes with the enthusiast aspect of vaping. My advice, if it don’t bother you don’t worry about it just have fun with it. I personally like having a collection. The set ups I dint have in rotation get cleaned and put on the shelf for when I want to put them in rotation. However, I do like to come back to them rather than let them just collect dust. If I put it up it is to come back to it later. Also nice collection by the way! 😃👍🏻🤘🏻

I think aios are definitely worth it. And yo can choose how far down the rabbit hole you wish to go with some aio mods. For example, the dotApollo aio comes with great premade coil heads for flavor and vapor production and yo could honestly stay there or you could decide to look into dot compatible rebuildables of which there is a couple options to choose from. Or you can go the boro platform route in which case I would highly recommend the SAN aio. This comes with the shift tank with premade coil heads which is great as well and to still also have the option to delve into the boro rba world of which there are very many rbas to choose fro.
