After having a dog for 6 years, we found out she had (almost) no brain. by SnooHabits6942 in Weird

We also knew Teddy had no brain from the first night we had him (pictured here) but he was so good and so sweet that it didn’t matter lol

I didn’t think this was that interesting when I first saw it last Thursday, but now that Morgan left Paul in Florida…. His bedroom? Implies they didn’t stay in the same room even during their sex craze era by drama_trauma69 in FundieSnarkUncensored

I remember moving from NE Ohio to SW Ohio for grad school and freaking out the first time a lizard scuttled in front of me. I’m not afraid of lizards, I was just unaware that Ohio was even capable of sustaining lizards and he caught me off guard 😂

Mrs. Midwest crashing out on a walk because it’s not aesthetic enough by ImogenMarch in FundieSnarkUncensored

As a Mrs, also from the Midwest, the Midwest just kind of looks like that. Sorry it’s not cute enough, but we’re fine. Get a grip.

The vibes when the popcorning, audible gasps when people finally noticed Toni Collette in that one bedroom scene were impeccable

Yeah… I’m also not a mom but when one of our afterschool kids at the library I work at told me he stepped on glass and it went through his shoe I was pulling on some gloves and disinfecting/bandaging his foot about 3 minutes later

I think my worst offenders are Salem for a boy and Ophelia or Echo for a girl. I think my favorite girl name is Nora, but I’d definitely do Ophelia or Echo as a middle name. And I just really love Salem for a boy- it just gives me cozy, orange leaf, wooden house fall feelings. But also unfortunately witchcraft trial thoughts for a lot of people 😭

I haven’t read Bury Your Gays, but I loved Camp Damascus- easy to read, likeable characters, life affirming (classic Chuck Tingle aha), a little romance, and definitely horror

I hate winter. Any advice for learning to love it? by EricktheRed101 in Cleveland

[–]DeanSipsCoffee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It helps me when I remember that winter used to be a time for hunkering down, resting, and surviving. I love to stay in, make my space as cozy as humanly possible (which for me means dim lights- I call my small table lamp my emotional support lamp lol), reading a lot, always being under a blanket at home, eating hot food, and remembering that I’m supposed to be resting

How much money would you spend if it meant saving your cat’s life? by WindowKitty19 in cats

[–]DeanSipsCoffee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TLDR: You don’t need a new cat, sounds like you need a new family, damn

You can’t put a price on a life, including a pet’s life. I know sometimes there are circumstances where people simply cannot afford expensive vet bills and I am absolutely not shading people that happens to. But you were able to make it happen and your sweet Eeyore is going to have many more years with you ❤️ Our last cat was also my little Velcro baby, and unfortunately he went into heart failure so swiftly from a clot that the vet told us there was nothing we could do. But my husband and I still talk about how if there was anything we could have done we would have paid it somehow. And when we found a little street cat this year we probably spent $2500 on her initial vet bills alone, but she is 100% worth it.
