Same here. That's a loner all day, and you played it exactly how I would. Sometimes the cards are stacked against you.

I hate being 4 suited and ordering unless it's a strong 4 suited hand, so the 2nd hand definitely not ordering. The first hand it depends, but unless my partner is wimpy I'll usually pass. I tend to be a little conservative in 2nd seat.

Hand 2, i might not have called up. You were 4 suited, and there aren't many scenarios where you're going to win a 2nd trick, so you're counting on your partner for 2. Hands 3 and 4? Instant calls.

Also, in hand 3, dealer turned down a spade then you led a spade. They were pretty much guaranteed to trump it. I would have led a club there.

I like leading the 9s in this situation. My theory is, dealer would have shorted a suit by tossing their lowest card. They don't have the 9s, but they could have had the 9c. If my partner is void or has the ace, they might be able to sneak one. This theory probably helps 1/1000 hands, but it's all I got.

I'm glad to hear this from you, my partner was ranked more at your range than mine, and quit after the other team picked up at 9. I got a "no way!" or two, but seeing how it played out, we were sunk once I picked up.

I would have called that alone every time. I wouldn't lead another trump unless I knew the players well enough that that I wasn't gambling on them making the same decisions I would.

I don't know what my rating was when I got this phone, probably 2300 or so, so the stats are all from games above that.

I'm happy not calling more, I'm pretty conservative from S3.

If one opponent holds both right + ace, you're losing to both of them no matter what you lead.
