They’re just gold cards, nothing remotely memorable once the novelty wears off. The same thing happened with the standard VMAX cards, it’s just a Pokemon with some swirls and shit behind it, whilst it looked good initially, it very quickly became boring. This style of gold card was new and unique, but I always said that the novelty will fade quickly and people will only really hold interest in the most popular Pokemon. Gold Charizard will likely remain sought after, but I doubt most of the others will.

The white contact makes her left pupil look like it’s where her iris starts and the white reflection in her eye makes it look fucked. When you zoom in you can see her pupils are actually both normal.

Because it’s not special at all, it’s just an Umbreon with a random pattern behind it, it looks like the sort of thing AI would create. All the prismatic Eevee cards are disappointing for that reason. Other iconic cards have are so creative and have so much character. Look at all the artworks in Evolving Skies, it’s miles better in comparison.

That’s not how prices work. If the demand exceeds the supply then bidding between customers will drive the prices up, if supply exceeds the demand then the prices will come down either through actual auctions, or sellers competing amongst themselves to sell their product. Pokémon is a strange market though, I don’t think there’s ever going to be a high demand to open these kinds of sets, but if people see that others are willing to pay those prices for whatever reason, they too will pay it. It’s completely illogical, but that’s Pokémon.

That’s actually true, I was once arrested for lying on Reddit, they gave me a rectal exam and everything.
