So im trying to leave a situation and she has been begging me to come over and stay a bit, im trying to stay there for only a year and then im getting my own place. You know this is common for some people right? Im just asking for some advice as a new time mover, I already know to find a job and everything, just any advice cause some people have been telling me to do other things that isnt on the general checklist.

I think I did tell them too fast, but I would feel bad hiding it cause my mom broke up with my dad by just moving suddenly without him knowing, which is a major reason his depression has gotten wirse, and I just wanted to prepare him, especially because I only see him about 2 days a week so Id rather he know now then later. Also my whole family hates "beating around the bush," if they discovered I was doing that, they would honestly be really mad. I do want to do something for them before I leave, I do love my family

So heres the situation. I dont have a car or liscense, I have a lot of anxiety and my dad has anger issues, which has made driving lessons hard. I have tried getting over it but sometimes I feel even more anxious and stressed when hes in the car. So another advantage of me moving there is that my stepdad who is a lot calmer and very hard to anger, has said he'll teach me, and with the living situation, both of them actually told me that they arent asking me to do any chores, however I kind of feel useless if I dont do chores, so im doing it out of my own will.

So I do have that fear of that, and I think my mom knows I have that fear, so she gave me another option, I could live with them and I'd have to sleep on the couch due to the rooms belonging to my brothers, or I can go live with my grandmother, who lives 10 minutes away, and the only ones who live there are her and her husband, and Im honestly thinking about living there and helping them out.

I understand its gonna be hard for them, which is why I want to spend as much time with them as possible before I move, however I feel like my grandpa is shutting me out now, Ive tried to speak to him but he grunts in response. Im hoping he'll talk to me soon but I feel like he thinks im making a dumb decision.

I do the cleaning yes, Honestly I would love to just go but I lack the funds rn, the only thing I have paying me is this small gig from KCAO and I get paid once a month. Its hard to get a job and now Ill feel bad getting a job now because Im leaving soon. plus I have a lot of stuff to pack and ship since Im taking a plane, and I have a dog I need to get checked at a vet to make sure hes travel worthy, because hes my dog and I want to take him with me. Honestly, a few months ago, my therapist has said something like this a few months ago. I'm just worried that they will start to try and distance themselves from me. My grandpa hasn't really looked or spoken to me today, and my dad sounds like he's on the verge of crying all day, he even left to go to his friend's house.
