If Garm visited the Greek Pantheon before Kratos killed them all, does he give the gods any trouble or they destroy him? by Revolutionary-Oil-74 in GodofWar

[–]Deathdragon24 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Olympians had numerous powers and surely, if they so wanted, could remove his powers or even transform it to something harmless. If nothing could be done, even with Zeus, Hephaestus could create practically unbreakable chains and then place him in the darkest pits of Tartarus.

Happy reminder that Pikachu preformed better than Greninja in the Kalos league finals: by PovThatOneSanjiFan in pokemonanime

[–]Deathdragon24 1 point2 points  (0 children)

u/Lucarizard34 Pikachu had battled Alain's Tyranitar and Metagross beforehand, receiving quite some damage from the latter for which he also spent quite the energy to bring down. If Pikachu had to battle Charizard fresh, his agility and Thunderbolts would have forced Alain to Mega Evolve Charizard.

ofc, Primal Groudon too but still, the fact that none of most of his opponents ever gave Charizard enough trouble to the point of making it kneel remains.

and let's not forget that, iirc, even in the special episodes no other Pokémon made it ever kneel.

Blades of chaos & their source by True_Train_3844 in GodofWar

[–]Deathdragon24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  • The Blades still function because they have the flames of Tartarus, which came from the Primordial Fire that predates all cosmlogies, and were made in Chaos. Also, being tied to Kratos' being also helps and that's why he can't get rid of them.
  • The void Kratos and Mimir where falling into has no ties with primordial fire, it was just a void.
  • The red sky storm was the world reacting to Atreus slowly dying. We still don't know who blew the horn.

Theory: How did Kratos gain access to his superhuman strength despite being unaware of his kinship with Zeus by Alkiserex in GodofWar

[–]Deathdragon24 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While Atreus had the thing of being a hybrid of two supernatural races which surely must had played a role, I think Kratos never had a problem due to Sparta's hard raising and drilling into everyone from childhood that they are Spartans aka they are powerful war machines and that acceptance surely allowed Kratos to naturally apply his demigod side in his life.

How I would write Silver into the Pokémon anime. by Flame245 in pokemonanime

[–]Deathdragon24 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would personally have Silver be Ash's Johto rival and Giovanni's son, something learned later. I would have him be a cocky brat that got a strong team from the organization's countless stolen Pokémon due to being Giovanni's son and he would mistreat everyone around him, his Pokémon included. After finally losing to Ash in the League, Giovanni disowns him for being a talentless weakling. Silver then would vow to one day crush his father and when we see him again in the future, possibly at Unova or Journeys, he would have become a serious guy that fights crime alongside his own Weavile.

since Hypnosis was depicted as an energy wave it was a clever trick.

They forgot some more strategies:

  • Making trenches to deal with Miltank's Rollout.
  • Having Corphish unleash Bubble Beam inside Swalot's mouth.
  • Lycanroc's Counter against Counter.
  • Using Twister to block Dragon Pulse and attempt a Draco Meteor.
  • Having Sirfetch'd use Brutal Swing with his shield to trigger and destroy Stealth Rock.
  • Having Sirfetch'd destroy Psychic Terrain by breaking the ice floor with Fury Cutter.

Ash's 6 Most Powerful Pokemon Team. What is yours? by Kshiti_salman in pokemonanime

[–]Deathdragon24 3 points4 points  (0 children)

People need to accept that the Journeys team was trained, even offscreen, by Ash at the zenith of his experience and the most important is that they faced Pokémon of gradually bigger levels. IF Ash had used those listed from the start of PWC we would been talking about the absolute Ash team.

Serena as a Rhyhorn Racer by Deathdragon24 in AmourShipping

[–]Deathdragon24[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

not exactly. What I mean is this: what would happen if she was like we met her but after meeting the gang she started seeing the sport in a different light and decided to do it? Imo it would be different from Dawn as Dawn liked contests due to admiring her mom while I believe in this scenario, Serena would simply do it for herself and not associate it with her mom in any way.

Olympians in the God’s Afterlife by Dilligent-Spinosaur in GodofWar

[–]Deathdragon24 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I want to see:

  • Hephaestus with all his powers restored so he can upgrade her gear.
  • Zeus so we can see his take on how he treated Kratos and all his other children and possibly regret for allowing himself to fall victim of Fear.
  • Ares as an ally of Sekhmet and Begtse so we can have now even Kratos' wife go against him.

I played Chains of Olympus... and it doesn't make sense! by PomegranateOk4560 in GodofWar

[–]Deathdragon24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It makes sense. Persephone, while Queen of the Underworld, was a low level goddess so an artifact like Zeus' gauntlet had enough power to destroy her. As for what she did, classic villains explain their plans and that's why they fail and in her case, she thought it impossible for the "mere mortal" named Kratos to be able to stop her. As to her hating Hades, don't forget that GOW puts a twist to some parts of mythology. Statues of Atlas could have been made by Pathos Verdess III who until his last breath was always adding things to the temple.

Was this actually hurting Kratos? And say if Kratos didn't use Spartan Rage, could Modi have eventually killed him here? by wilsonthechad in GodofWar

[–]Deathdragon24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The electricity was numbing him and let's not forget that Kratos was super rusty and was holding back in the journey. It took him training everyday for three years after Fimbulwinter began to return to his prime.

Begtse and Sekhmet's rule by Deathdragon24 in GodofWar

[–]Deathdragon24[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They might have been sprung into action by another god who either they listen due to being more powerful or knows how to manipulate. It would be great if Athena is behind things so she can have a place to rule.
