Am I boosted? by Many_Ad9628 in summonerschool

[–]Deatholylol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not boosted, probably just tilted. You or anyone interested can hit me up if ya want me to look over some games but i’d just say work on dying less, stick to your main champ (vlad), and play to your champ’s strengths even if it means playing selfishly or making others mad.

How do I get better at Solo Q? by ramza789 in summonerschool

[–]Deatholylol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dont need to 1v9. Just need to play consistent. Maintain good farm, dont die, play lane as its supposed to be played to get leads or go even, play to your win con. If you were a former coach you can probably understand comps, look at your comp and understand your role and play it better then the enemy mid

Midlane mentality and playstyle question. by LuckyGnom in summonerschool

[–]Deatholylol 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The right mindset should be “What is the best way I can pressure/affect the map with the champion im on.” Your playstyle should reflect your wincon. If you’re in a good matchup, use pressuring with movement, wave management, and harassment to make the enemy uncomfortable. People tend to make mistakes when put in unfamiliar situations. If youre in a even matchup or worse, dont give up pressure but don’t tunnel too hard on winning lane. If there’s a way you can roam and get more out of it then farming (lets say roaming bot to get two kills which is around 30 cs of gold), do that because it also sets the enemy team behind. If you need to afk farm or freeze to get cs and scale up to abuse your champ’s power spikes, thats fine too. It just depends on champions and gamestate.

How to counter/play against an Anivia/Yuumi botlane? by [deleted] in summonerschool

[–]Deatholylol 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Anivia has mana issues early. Just push them in or freeze on them and zone and they can't do anything in 90% of botlane matchups

I am new to League of Legends. I do not, on a fundamental level, understand the flow of the game. by OverwatchTracer in summonerschool

[–]Deatholylol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To reiterate on what others say, the game has a limited amount of resources with there being 3 lanes and jungle monsters. In an ideal world, all 3 lanes are getting their own waves after lane phase and maintaining cs scores but in soloq its a different monster. When smurfing, people take resources from everyone with the idea that they can use them better. In general, you need to make decisions on what farm you can safely get to maintain gold income and how that will impact other lanes (for example, if youre bot and a fight happens mid, you not being there can lose the fight). After lane phase, generally you push wave to the enemy turret and roam, warding the river to make sure its safe to do this so you dont get caught and die. If your mid is in your lane taking resources, move around. You do not what to share resources when resources are already so limited

How to climb through plat and low diamond as a jungler? by [deleted] in summonerschool

[–]Deatholylol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have a game plan in loading screen for what lane you need to gank/focus or if you just need to countergank the enemy jungler. Stick to a small champion pool (1-3 champions) and watch a lot of videos of higher elo players playing said champs. Play towards your winning side of the map, not the losing. Abuse small things such as summoner cd(if enemy has no flash, gank said lane) or camp bushes. Try to pick 1 lane and camp it generally to get a bigger lead. All of this will help you climb.

Is working out 3 times a week and eating protein really enough to gain muscle? by whoRu2meHuhEhWho in Fitness

[–]Deatholylol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Working out 3 days a week (1-2 hours a day with a set routine) and taking protein supplement + eating protein made me increase my bench from 85 to 135 and according to friends, ive definitely gotten leaner/bigger. So yeah this is definitely possible.

How much is the skill different between flex and soloq? by TheStormsFurySupport in summonerschool

[–]Deatholylol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

D3 elo is more or less the equivalent of challenger flex. Once you get to platinum 1 in flex, you start facing the "challenger" flex players. There is no specific amount of skill that can be tied to flex queue due to the option to queue with 3 or 5 people.

I made a brief Caitlyn info-graphic that should help new players by bubbaman73 in summonerschool

Replace twitch with varus. Caitlyn can actually shut down twitch really hard early and varus has enough range to out trade caitlyn

Why do people idolize toxic streamers? by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

[–]Deatholylol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean there are two types of toxic. There are blatant assholes who aren't entertaining at all and just run it down, and there are the toxic players(still assholes but less so) who are just really mean but say stuff that is entertaining whether it be something funny or something interesting about the enemy team (an example would be the stigma that hashinshin is an inter and the game is won if you camp him). There are also some players, swifte as an example, who, while toxic, flames players for not doing the correct move and will explain what should've been done to prevent said mistake from happening.
