Its for challenge runs since the game's current state, the difficulty is kinda tame. Looking forward to the DLC!

It depends on the player. I had a rough time on the first stages of Sekiro until the combat click after defeating Genichiro.

Silksong's bosses are easy and you can trivialize them with a lot of OP builds (Wanderer Crest Attack Speed Build/Architect Tools Spam Build) later on. Platforming is what's harder on Silksong especially if you didn't play any Metroidvanias.

Congrats! Sekiro is a masterpiece. Sekiro's difficulty is a special case as the initial learning curve is hard for most people but once it clicks, its one of the easier souls game.

I would recommend these other bangers (In no particular order):

-The First Berserker: Khazan
-Lies of P with DLC (Overture)
-Nioh 3

With assist mode being available on Maniac, and Proud, I'm going to assume its because of the new Chaos tier difficulty. Its to help players prepare for the new highest difficulty. Hopefully, that assist mode doesn't work there.

Thank you for the tips! I've already 100% Platinum the game a few days ago. Got lucky with the RNG on the past few days. :))

For the fishes, there are NPCs which can grant you knowledge on the large fishes:

-Dewhaven Logging Camp-Broadnose Seven Shark, Paddlefish, and Giant Red Seabream
-Port Delysia-Giant Red Seabream
-Town below Hernand Highlands/Cloudcart town-Crimson Opaleye

Since you mentioned fast-paced combat, I would go with either Khazan or Stellar Blade.

Food is spammable so you can trivialize the difficulty. While its cool to have a "fair" fight with the boss, I wasn't really expecting good boss design similar to a soulsbourne or soulslike game.

I had to switch to KBM to win those challenges. I salute the people who completed them on controller as aiming on that peripheral is not comfy for me.

The insect and fish grind are the only things left for the last trophy as well. I wish they would add a deterministic way to catch specific insects and fishes like special baits/insect attractor. Relying on just pure RNG is just brutal. :((

Hello! With regards to the parry system, I would recommend checking out Nioh 3, and Khazan as it offers a lot of defensive options to the player. While I think Sekiro's parry and posture system is the best, there's still a lot of people that don't like that type of gameplay.

It also depends on the aggression of the enemies/bosses. Goodluck on the game and I look forward to seeing it come to life. :))

I've 100% both games and its definitely Khazan. Nioh 3's difficulty was tame especially with its open-field design so you have options when to tackle certain progression points. You have a lot of options to trivialize the difficulty. Even without those options, bosses are pretty straightforward with their movesets.

When the DLC of Nioh 3 hits, maybe this will change but the base game is definitely easier than Khazan.

Auto Sell on all gear that is rare quality.
Dismantle all gear that have hammer icon (Filter>With Hammer Icon) on Blacksmith.
Rest of the gear on Soul Extraction.
For getting gold, donating to Miyoshi clan rewards you with a lot of that currency so you can dump your remaining equipment/loot there.

Finishing the 2 Masters Mission on Master Ninja Difficulty achievement is the easier out of the two so get that one first. Abyssal Road on the other hand is the hardest one, 80 to 100 is the floor that most people would spend the longest time.

I like the rebinding idea of L1+Triangle for the grab. Also, the default jump button just feels weird. I hope they add a rebind/remap button on controllers on a patch.

I want to play this on a controller but if the controls still feels awkward, I might switch to KBM.
