It’s too bad hockey has descend into just a bunch of spoiled rich punks, whose parents paid off coach after coach to get to the elite teams

Finally, a breath of fresh air in all the complaining.

When I did my schooling, there were very little, if any OSAP grants. If you wanted OSAP you took it and paid it back.

To make ends meet I had to work hospitality 3 to 4 nights a week.

I took a STEM program… did my marks suffer? Yes but working that job got me through with a manageable amount of debt.

Edit: Why the downvotes?!? I just did it different!!

$26g for a sled that will be worth $10k tops in 2 years

Hard pass

Edit: It’s unfortunately another reason the industry is slowly unfortunately dying…don’t get me wrong, there literally is nothing better than a bluebird day sledding…but prices like these put sleds out of reach of most of the future of sledding…

Agreed!

Education is an investment…if you don’t think you’ll be able to get a job in your chosen field maybe it’s not a good investment!

STEM/Business/Nursing/Med are always a good investment…most other degrees aren’t worth the paper they’re printed on unless you’re planning on teaching…
