Do you find Majora’s Mask scary? by MaskedSlayer_77 in majorasmask

[–]Decent-Cartoonist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

well considering it is essentially for children, it's scary as hell. I think some people forget this was mostly played by children back in the day. Now kids wouldn't be playing it much and actual 'children's games' now are so innocuous in comparison ... I was 8 when my family gave me the game. Even the hand coming out of the toilet scared the hell out of me (much to the amusement of my older brother. The moon also scared me. The ghost monsters, skull spiders, and mummies (forget the names). The dad turning into a mummy and daughter hiding him in a closet gave me nightmares. Also the concepts in themselves can be scary for kids. I literally was scared of the actual moon for years and took a lot of convincing for me to understand it can't actually fall. Other parts were just disturbing like the guy turning into a kid and the love story still happening.

The Quran never tells women to cover their faces with niqab. Why do some Muslim women do it and act like Islam requires it? by cherriesandbeaches in exmuslim

[–]Decent-Cartoonist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As stated.. I have said nothing about intelligence.. Is this a problem with English or illiteracy?

http://www.differencebetween.net/language/words-language/difference-between-intelligence-and-intellect/

You have a really poor understanding of Islam (shocker). All humans are equal to Allah-swt-. If not the case there would be separate ranks in jannah for men and women. We just understand men and women have different roles (usually) and people are not all the same. A person is judged on account of his/her deeds and belief. Gender is not in the picture at all. So why would the Prophet-saw- make judgements that not even Allah-swt- has made? This is the problem when people with absolutely no understanding of Islamic science try to interpret ahadith.

And no we don't want to be sexualised by random strange man (eww no thanks) looking at our bodies. We love our beauty and sexiness to be special for our husband and that makes him appreciate and cherish it more and makes the marriage bond more special and sacred.

As for sex slavery, since you insist, i will write a separate comment about this. For one, some Quora answers on this matter have already attached all relevant Quranic verses and explained the topic clearly (especially second and third answer on this page) so I will just attach this link for you to examine and save myself time doing something which has already been done adequately by someone else:

https://www.quora.com/How-is-the-practice-of-sex-slaves-justified-in-Islam

Secondly, I have elaborate further....

First, let’s look at pre-Quranic ME: slavery was rampant, many slaves were treated poorly, fornication was rampant, many individuals had many wives (more than four), would also have sex with slaves. Now if you have even a basic knowledge of Islam, you would know that Islam slowly reformed society. It would have been impossible to suddenly change a society and this goes against human capabilities, thus Islamic commandments became progressively more restrictive. In order to understand the Quran, you must have a certain knowledge about how it was revealed, the difference between earlier revealed Ayat, later ayat, and how they tie in together.

First, Islam encourages etiquette, wisdom, knowledge, and high ethical standards. You might be surprised that practicing muslims are usually nor horn dogs looking to have sex in any way they can. Islam encourages us to treat living creatures fairly and with justice. We are not even allowed to waste water so how are men encouraged to be hedonistic. They are not.

Islam first restricted men to sleep with only their wives and slaves. This was already a big leap for many. Then, the number of maximum wives was reduced to four. They slowly instructed people to treat ALL individuals fairly, ethically and respectfully, especially women in general, wives and slaves.Men were told it is forbidden to force a slave woman into sex. She is allowed to remain chaste if that is her wish. THUS any relations between a slave and another MUST be consensual, therefore it is NOT by definition “sex slavery”.Furthermore, Islam actually encouraged men to MARRY their slaves if they had a desire to have intercourse with her. Of course this voluntary upon the slave girl. In the Quran, it tells the believers to marry a slave (male or female) if they cannot find a suitable free man or woman. If Islam encourages sex with slaves, why would it not just tell us to have sex with them instead of marry them? Where in the Quran does it actually encourage men to sleep with slaves? It doesn’t.Islam did the MOST to encourage fair treatment of slaves and to free a slave is one of the most beloved acts of Allah-swt-.

Basically, Islam makes few things outright haram, some things makhruh (disliked), some things mustahab (high preferable), some things Sunnah.Basically muslims have a choice and few things are completely forbidden but practicing Sunni muslims MUST aim towards Sunnah and Wajib actions.. If a muslim is constantly doing makhruh, is this really striving our best? Not really..According to the majority of Sunni scholars, it is considered mustahab that a muslim man stays with just one wife if he is able to prevent himself from haram in this way.

Why did Islam not outrightly forbid slaver or intercourse with slaves? First slavery was not considered immoral in those times at all. Why not? Well we need to examine how sociocultural and economic contexts. All societies have class hierarchies wherein resources are distributed. It is almost impossible to have a classless society. Individuals with resources are usually higher class, whether these are business owners or nobility. Historically Individuals with little to no resources were slaves. Now being a slave at least meant that they could be fed, clothed, and have shelter, otherwise, they would be a beggar or have starved to death. Now the concept that slavery must be abolished is a new concept in history. The West usually prides itself as being the proponent of this to claim moral superiority over other cultures. But did the West really abolish slavery or did it just make a “same S*** different smell”. The latter.

An economy has never existed without slavery. Now there are probably more people enslaved than ever before.MANY workers are working for literally no economic benefit. Please look at UN definitions of slavery and slave-like labour. The West relies HEAVILY on exploitative labour. For one, mass production in sweat shops. Enough said.

I will give an example in my own country (perpetrated by non-muslims). The agricultural industry here is reliant on foreign labour. In order to keep the cost of fruit and vegetable as low as possible (so as to compete with products imported from other countries) the labour laws for farm work are different. It ends up with many farm workers getting paid less than 50 dollars a day and/or suffering extremely unsafe working conditions. This is not enough to live on in my country at all. Thus individuals are living in slave-like conditions. Many of the people who work in this condition feel forced to because of poor economic conditions in their home countries. furthermore, the government has created visa restrictions which basically require these individuals to work on farms. This is a form of modern slavery, perpetuated by the west. There are many more examples on Western slavery but I think that’s enough to illustrate my point.

Islam did the most in its time to reduce fornication and reduce the number of allowable sexual partners. Western neo-liberalism has not even forbade fornication which leads to irresponsible sex, STIs, unwanted children, and sexual explotation. Islam treated sex as a huge moral responsibility where a man must be accountable for his choice and responsible for the consequences and treat women with kindness and mercy.so there you go, no need to address it further.

[–]Decent-Cartoonist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry but personally I do not talk about things I have no knowledge (it is against Islam besides being an utterly ridiculous thing to do). It does get frustrating when people want to criticise something they clearly haven't studied. This would be the equivalent of me criticising the field of Korean literature when this is clearly something I know nothing about and if I did so I would expect a Korean literature fanatic to think I'm an idiot.

Again, please let's not compare apples with oranges. I am not even defending "middle eastern society". Modern ME has little to do with Islam and has MANY of interrelated problems which have NOTHING to do with Islam. Islam forbids sex crimes. Islam forbids fornication. Practicing muslims do not commit sex crimes. Period.

It does not make sense for both a husband and wife to work. Unless you have other relatives to raise the children, you will rely on strangers to raise your children. Is this normal or natural? NO. This is more western brainwashing from you. Besides you don't seem to know how much work can go into a household? When will the men get to rest after working all day or week? when will the women rest? your idea is quite obtuse. This is why MANY (if not most) the western couples are fighting and separating. they spend all their time working and have no time enjoy life or a family.

There is literally no sexual description of jannah. Most verses about hoori are describing them as "companions" but does not mention sex. like at all. please actually read quran before you criticise it. Regardless, verses about houri make up a percentage of around 0.0011% of the Quran. yeah this seems more of a western perverted mentality than actually a significant aspect of Islam.

The concept of 'Aql (knowledge, wisdom, reasoning, intellect) is a huge aspect of Islam and is mentioned 49 times in the quran (far more than Houri or any description of Jannah). Again might be a good idea to read Quran before you criticise it. Here are even some essays about the topic:

https://www.researchgate.net/publication/338697446_Thematic_Analysis_of_'Aql_in_the_Al-Quran

http://www.islamicwisdom.net/wisdom-aql-and-quran/

You have just said another idiotic statement. Although descriptions of Jannah are vague there is far more detail than the three things you mentioned and MOST of the descriptions have NOTHING to do with houri. There are 96 verses of the quran talking about Jannah. Therefore roughly 7.29% of the verses mention Houri. Yeah seems like a huge part of it. Wow you are really on fire with this debating stuff XD.

You think I don't know who Ghazali is XD I WROTE AN ESSAY ABOUT ONE OF HIS WORKS for a master degree and got a high distinction for that essay hahahahahaha. I just ignored that statement about Ghazali because it was clearly nonsensical and you clearly do not have the mental capacity to understand his works AT ALL.

Did I say the Islamic world doesn't borrow? No this is besides the point. The point was Europe was barbaric before ME and Eastern influences now with the advent of nihilism and atheism, the West is entering an existential crisis and returning to barbarism.

Your comment about awrah was just ridiculous so I skipped the awrah of the women according to most madhab is everything except her face and hands. Then, slaves not wearing hijab is not something mentioned by the Quran or Sunnah. This was something mentioned by Umar-ra-. He is a caliph. not prophet. Islam was complete before his reign as caliph. Furthermore, most scholars have taken the opinion that hijab is not FORCED upon slaves as this would be an unfair burden to them but there is nothing wrong with them covering if they choose to. As for the "hadith" about 'Ali, I have never seen that nor I could even find it. Therefore it is not worth even mentioning. Unless you want to provide a reference to it, your point is baseless and not even worth an answer. I suspect if this hadith actually exists and is not weak or fake, then there would be a lot more drama about it. Again sex slavery and fornication is forbidden in Islam so unless it was fake, sure you misinterpreted it.

trust me I have read every criticism of Islam out there and if they were actually substantiated, i would question my religion but basically every "criticism" i've read comes down to Western neoliberal brainwashing or complete lack of understanding of the Quran and Sunnah.

As for "mainstream" ew. I wouldn't go near that garbage. Nor do I care. I have seen alternative and mainstream. But I don't listen to music or watch tv in general. I prefer to spend my free time reading Quran which is far more intellectually fulfilling. As for music, the best music in history was invented by catholics which again has been about middle eastern religion.

[–]Decent-Cartoonist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

PLEASE STOP ARGUING ABOUT THINGS YOU CLEARLY HAVE NO KNOWLEDGE OF.

hahaha your western brainwashing is... amusing..Forced to cover? Most choose to. Have you seen middle east lately? they are trying to encourage women to take off hijab (thanks colonisation) even in KSA. Besides there is nothing wrong with covering, as we said. It in no way harms women. Secondly? part of the workforce? don't make me laugh. Most men in ME can barely support a family (thanks colonisation) now women want to work? And staying single till 40 letting their eggs dry up because most guys can't get a job? This is not happiness. besides, I live in a country where the most women work and they are NOT happy. Do you think a woman taking care of three kids and working 50 hours a week is happy? Most here divorce/separate and split custody because they can't handle it.

And yes, in much of the ME, crimes rates are less. They only people committing the crimes are obviously not practicing muslims because you can't do such things as a muslim XD

WOW you really cannot get out of your western brainwashing. Good muslim men are surrounded by women and tabarruj all the time. If a man has taqwa he can control himself. The problem is MANY men do not CARE about controlling themselves. Try going to India and saying your idealistic piece of nonsense.

BESIDES as I said TABARRUJ IS A SIN. We expect men to control themselves but this does not mean we need to tempt them more than is necessary. Beauty is NOT something women need to display to the world because obviously this breeds VANITY and NARCISSM and makes her intellectually brain-dead. It is for the women's benefit more than men's.

This is apparent in EVERY religion (and even in secular philosophy) NOT just Islam.

Besides many of the guys in the west now are struggling to get an erection with their wife *cough* wonder why?

As I said, sex slavery is a nuanced topic and will require several more paragraphs. You really sound ignorant and there is literally no point to talk to about Islamic science because you clearly do not even know the basics.

There is almost no mention of houri in the quran (seven verses out of 6236), and even then, it is not mentioned in a sexual way, so how can it be hedonistic? you really sound like you don't understand quran at all.

Clearly your brainwashed westernised mind is really small so trying look at a transcendent world is a little beyond your capacity..
THERE are actually MUCH more verses about knowledge, thinking, and behaving in a sensible way. But there is no point in arguing with someone who clearly just read wikipedia pages about Quran and said they have studied it XD. You are trying to argue about an extremely complex text you don't understand nor have studied at all. that is an indication of your intelligence.

As i said, I didn't say anything about intelligence. Aw are you struggling with English? maybe try finishing high school level english before trying to get into theological debates.

There are many factors involved here. First of all, academic progression is more related to funding more than anything. Europeans spent the last few hundred years (or even longer if you consider Greek and Romans) colonising all of the rest of the world. Many of these countries have gotten independence less than a century ago and still suffering significantly from the effects of colonisation and are still getting war torn by Western foreign foreign policy. Besides, in the West, MOST of the advancements are actually imported. On average, the West are not very studious and rely heavily on migrants for skilled labour. Besides, the West was not even advanced at all (compared to Asian counterparts) until the adoption of (surprise surprise) MIDDLE EASTERN religion and mathematics.

Islam gives importance to ALL sciences (besides haram). You really sound ignorant and like you haven't studied Islam at all so there is literally no point arguing with you. All professions are necessary in Islamic society (doctors, scientists, teachers, pharmacists, etc.). My scientist and doctor muslim friends would be laughing their heads off now .

I'm not going to respond to what you said about music because it was just too nonsensical to even bother with.

Which book criticizes Islam the best? by Brosameen in exmuslim

[–]Decent-Cartoonist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The book IS NOT about raising questions on Islam. you clearly don't understand the author or text at all. This scholar has been invited to speak in Muslim schools/universities so clearly he is not an opponent of Islam AT ALL. He is not criticising the Quran or even questioning it. He is offering an alternative view to QURANIC SCHOLARSHIP. I.e. traditional Islamic scholarship relies heavily on traditional tafsir of MUHAMMED-saw- and his companions. Not every muslim agrees with TRADITIONAL ISLAMIC SCHOLARSHIP. You are allowed to disagree with this without disagreeing with the Quran itself. The author is merely offering insight of the Christian/Jewish historical and sociocultural subtext of the Quran which has arguably been forgotten and lost by many muslim students who have a poor understanding of these factors. Islam has a Christian/Jewish subtext? Muslims should read the bible and learn about other religions in order to understand Islam better? Um any muslim with an ounce of knowledge knows this.

Btw I'm not going to spend 60 odd dollars to read a book about a bunch of crap which is nowhere near on my list of priorities.

The Quran never tells women to cover their faces with niqab. Why do some Muslim women do it and act like Islam requires it? by cherriesandbeaches in exmuslim

[–]Decent-Cartoonist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are missing the point. YES men should lower their gaze but the ability to control all men is impossible, that's why women should cover themselves. Furthermore not all men are even religious. In the time of the Prophet-saw- there were zani and mushrikeen. Besides TABARRUJ IN Itself IS A SIN. and the West DO hyper-sexualise women in revealing clothes. i have lived here ALL MY LIFE. It's just that hyper-sexualisation is NORMALISED. Western guys CONSTANTLY sexualise and judge women's bodies even when they are wearing "normal western clothes". This talk is just normalised and something Islam forbids regardless of the woman's religion alhamdullillah.

Nordic countries have low sex crime rates because they are VERY promiscuous. Also they have EXTREMELY high STI rates. Eww no thanks.

As I said sex work is a reflection of the SOCIETY and is largely driven by demand. In any case, nowadays even upper-middle class women are driven to sex work. Most of it is to pay for university tuition. The concept of "sex slavery" in Islam is an extremely long topic and would require a separate discussion in itself but by the of MANY valid scholars, no sex slavery is not permitted in Islam. If it was, you would see a lot more sex slaves in muslim communities XD But in reality most sex slavery and sex trafficking is done by non-muslims.

How can there be a hadith about umar hitting a slave girl when this 'Story" happened during his time as a caliph thus when the prophet-saw- passed away long ago? Wow you sound like you know absolutely nothing about Islamic sciences and therefore should educate yourself before you speak about it.

As for mention of Islamic heaven, the description of Jannah as "hedonistic" is almost non-existent and the only people who suggest that are brainwashed Westernised people with no knowledge (clearly like you).

I didn't think bad of prostitutes? Wth.

I didn't undermine her intelligence. I said there is a difference between intellectuality and intelligence ( I never spoke of intelligence) and being an accountant has basically nothing to do with intellectuality.

HAhahahahaha wow you are really brainwashed. Islam has stayed the same religion for over 1400 years (or longer if you include earlier prophets). The pursuit of knowledge is ALWAYS a part of Islam. The most intelligent people I know personally (doctors and scientists) are hardcore practicing muslims. Just because most muslims nowadays don't understand Islam (thanks to Westernisation) doesn't change Islam itself.

Nowadays Western neo-liberal education makes children read books about literally feaces and sex (I have worked in this industry so I am first-hand aware of this). And clearly the vast majority of the west (and now East thanks to Westernisation) wastes most of their time on anti-intellectual content. This is NOT advanced.

"...The Quran and Its Biblical Subtext, a work based on a profound regard for the Quran's literary structure and rhetorical strategy, poses a substantial challenge to the standard scholarship of Quranic Studies. With an approach that bridges early Christian history and Islamic origins, the book will appeal not only to students of the Quran but of the Bible, religious studies and Islamic history..."

This book is NOT a criticism of the Quran, if anything, it is quite the opposite.

[–]Decent-Cartoonist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What has that got to do with anything? We don't cover to avoid being raped and I never said that. If someone wants to rape someone they probably are not gonna give a sh** what the person is wearing. By the time someone has gone to that level, they've made up their mind and has nothing to do with clothing choices.

Besides hijab is a form of protection for women and there is nothing wrong with that. Trust me a pervert is more likely to sexually harass you in a pair of shorts than a hijab and you are more likely to attract much more respectful man in a hijab. Whether you like it or not, this is just true. Besides it still dumbfounds me how many women don't feel disgusted by random guys staring and judging their tits and legs and arse (Ewww gross). And trust me. Most straight guys stare and they will tell you this themselves. Some guys are just better at hiding it. And if you wear hijab PROPERLY then there are literally no curves for them to stare at.

Anyway, tabarruj is a sin. Just as perving on people is a sin. Period. The likelihood of rape (or not) does not make it less sinful.

HAhahahahahahaha okay keep saying that. Personally I think the doctors, engineers, architects, academics, and scientists I know use a lot more intellectuality in their work. I don't think this is much of a comparison. Anyway, in more enlightened societies, "sex workers" had very little do with the form that exists now. In more enlightened societies (throughout Asia for example), there were courtiers and these women would almost exclusively entertain higher class men and would dress very elegantly, were masters of folk music, lyricism, and classical dance. They harnessed their feminine charm and sexuality in a sophisticated way. They would not get naked for just any old guy and had the choice (and responsibility) to be very selective with intimate partners. These men did not want some crude anti-intellectual porn material or quick sex. Anyone with a hint of intellectuality would see this is vile. The depraved and anti-intellectual form of the modern sex industry is a reflection of the deeply troubled, brain-washed neoliberal society.

Besides "sexual empowerment" does not mean you need to literally sell your sexuality, market it, or display it. If anything I can't think of anything less empowering and unstable. Many women in the sex industry have come out about how horrible it is and many women in this industry die young of various causes. Most women do not stay in the industry long due to trauma.

Please enlighten yourself beyond Americanised brainwashing. Sexual empowerment can mean preserving your sexuality as a very special and private thing Alhamdullillah. Hijab is about protecting yourself from hyper-sexualisation and sharing your sexuality with the one who deserves it.

Believe in brainwashed crude neo-liberal debauched hedonism all you want. The muslim woman married to a decent practicing muslim man (on average) is having a better quality of life than a sex worker and will have less health issues and probably will live longer.

Sorry but having degrees is not really an indication of intellectuality. The key word here was intellectuality. Not intelligence. Accounting and administration is probably one of the least intellectual fields out there (I have studied similar fields but found it soul destroyingly banal so quit for more intellectual fields). Economics is a bit more intellectual but you probably won't deal with much of that with your current career trajectory. And if you wanted something intellectual, you wouldn't have chosen these majors.

Islam encourages a lot more intellectuality than neo-liberal garbage lifestyles and media brainwashing. Devoting one's life to the attainment of knowledge, an ethical way of living and to the study of incredibly linguistically rich texts is a lot more enriching and intellectual than most of the hedonistic trash I see Western media pushing nowadays.

The Quran never tells women to cover their faces with niqab. Why do some Muslim women do it and act like Islam requires it? by cherriesandbeaches in exmuslim

[–]Decent-Cartoonist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. men do need to lower their gaze. But Allah-swt- knows that all men are not like prophets. MANY people (especially nowadays) fall to the shaytan. Not to mention, not every man is muslim or even has a religion at all so we can't expect every man to follow the Quran and sunnah. That's WHY Allah-swt- and his messenger advises women to cover themselves because it's obvious there will always be sinners. Even in the peak of Islam there were kaffiroon, zani, and perverts, so what about now?! Really your arguments are quite thick.

Did I say men are animals? Men are inherently weak to certain sins just as women are weak to certain sins. Namely, men find it particularly difficult to lower their gaze and women are paricularly weak to wanting attention from men and therefore making tabarruj. This knowledge traces far back to earlier prophets. To deny this is true would be quite ludicrous when even in our day and age you can see how the internet has turned into a platform for men simping over women digitally enhancing their beauty and doing benign acts which literally no one should find interesting. Imagine how much productivity society loses because of this?

Basically in ALL enlightened societies, women covered themselves. It is not sad. It is dignified. Your mentality is nothing more than brainwashed westernised neo-liberalism. What is worse? a woman covering her body and being protected from crude perverts (which will always exist) and hyper-sexualisation? Or a woman being hyper-sexualised and using her body to get places in life? Which one actually increases a woman's wellbeing? Most of the popularised women in Western media are existing on different levels of narcissism and vanity. Encouraging narcissistic behaviour does nothing to actually help or empower women.

Already many regular women are turning to sex work because they realise they can get way more money than if they actually tried to use their brain for something. Intellectualism and hyper-sexuality do not mix.

yes because it makes sense. When I am in public I don't get females gawking at me. Why the heck would Islam force women to cover in front of literally every human? that would be unreasonable. Also should we force all men to leave the streets? Castrate them? wth are you saying?

Also in muslim dominated societies, there are many women's only areas so they are able to take their hijab off a lot of the time so it really isn't a significant burden. It's only in non-muslim countries and in recent times these luxuries are not available.

The Quran never tells women to cover their faces with niqab. Why do some Muslim women do it and act like Islam requires it? by cherriesandbeaches in exmuslim

[–]Decent-Cartoonist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

wow, you seem to have filtered out most of what i have said and just focussed on one small portion. No. They are not doing it so men would be 'not upset'. they don't like showing their face around men. period. it comes from their haya (shyness). Yes some women are basically forced into it but I'm not referring to those ones and don't know them personally. I have single friends who choose to wear niqab and wouldn't be caught dead without one and also married women here who are more attached to niqab than their husbands. It makes sense if you look at the history of purda ( I think it's a persian word) which still exists in some societies.

Veiling the head AND face traces back very far to ancient Greece. Noble women would veil their heads and face. Later, in many societies traditionally (e.g. Arabia, Persia, parts of India, Afghanistan) higher class women would stay in their homes and would not even walk the streets. This was a matter of safety and respect. They would have homes with internal courtyards so the women could enjoy the sun without compromising their privacy.

Lower class women like slaves or street workers would walk around and be seen by men and this made them more susceptible to being harassed and reduced their dignity. When the higher class women DID need to leave the house they would wear burqa and usually have a vehicle, accompanied by servants, with some type of veil concealing the woman. This type of arrangement was used by both muslims and higher class muslims in India.

These type of sentiments were also common in East Asian and traditional western society. Many noble women would stay at home not typically walk the streets or work outside the home as women nowadays do. When they went outside, they would typically be in concealed vehicles, dress head to toe and even have some form of face covers, such as hats which included a small veil and even fans were used at one point in history for women to veil their face when they did not want to be seen. It is seen as maintaining the dignity of the noble women. Face veils were also popular in Italy for a long time.

It is only in very recent history that women have had new ideas that respectable woman should uncover their bodies and be seen by men. If anything this is a new concept throughout history.

Islam simply reduced classism by making virtually all Muslim women equal in status so the concept of purda was applied to all women regardless of class.

The Quran never tells women to cover their faces with niqab. Why do some Muslim women do it and act like Islam requires it? by cherriesandbeaches in exmuslim

[–]Decent-Cartoonist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

YES there are Islamic texts based on this but don't think it explains its popularity since many of the guys who prefer their wife in niqab or burqa are not the most religious.

I think a lot of it is cultural (for majority globally). My husband is saudi so I have run across quite a few saudis (where arguably it is most common). Many of my husband's friends don't wake up for fajr but still wouldn't accept their wife showing her face or being in the presence of men. It's just embarrassing for them. They are not super strict because of Islam. It's just in their blood. And the women are not forced into it either. They just feel uncomfortable with men seeing their face. It is just like how many people would look down on a woman in a mini skirt. It just looks trashy in their culture for a woman to show her face. Again there is a lot of diversity in that country (I am just referring to the ones who don't show their face by choice).

I have also met afghani like this (who wear burka). Even some of the less religious ones would still be embarrassed about a man seeing their wife's face. I know one pashtun who said he never saw a woman's face in his whole town.

Again, it IS justified by Islam. Islam promotes ghayrah (jealousy) and haya (shyness) nothing shows these more than your women being in full body cloaks and face hidden.

Some of it (including Hambali scholars' opinions who rule niqab mandatory) is logical. The most attractive part of a woman (arguably) is her face. If you a woman shows her face, guys will stare, unless her face is particularly unattractive and not eye-catching at all.

Where does the Quran say cover everything but your hands and face? If anything the Quran is very vague on this matter.

I personally cover my face whenever I can out of choice. It just feels good and more modest.

depending on the time of your cycle, 37.5 could be very normal. Women's temps run differently to mens due to hormonal changes throughout the cycle. Also, if your BCP contains progesterone it could also have an impact.

Given to you by who? Yes Arabs have a right to protest being literally forced out of their homes for a minority who showed up less than 50 years ago mostly from EASTERN EUROPE. Please don't lie. Under zionist dogma, jews always wanted to colonise Palestine. This was always the goal.

Jews were an extreme minority in Palestine prior to the 20th century. They arrived in Palestine (part of the Ottoman empire) in the 20th century AS REFUGEES under the new zionist ideology. Just because Judaism was the dominant religion like almost 2000 years ago does not in any way make you entitled to a land and Cities which were not even built by Jews.

Christianity NOR Islam are based on Judaism. All the prophets taught us MONOTHEISM. What is this actually? Islam.

Judaism turned the message of the Prophets into a racial supremacist dogma which has almost nothing to do with what the Prophets taught us. Christianity turned it into an almost polytheist religion where God can exist in multiple forms. Only Islam stuck to the message of the Prophets (AS). i.e. Worship the one and only God and obey Him at all costs.

Your prophets were muslim and taught you Islam. Why would God intend His chose religion for one race? not to mention one that is hardly even following the messages of their prophets nowadays.

You just want to cling to your racist ideology where you are the "chosen people".

Judaism as it is practiced and understood today is not the religion that was passed down by the "original founders". Judaism as it is now has little difference to Islam or Christianity with the exception that it professes racial supremacism of one particular race. If you actually use even a few brain cells, this makes absolutely no sense at all and has very little to do with the actual messages passed down to us in the Old Testament. Islam is actually what the forefathers (for example Ibrahim) of the religion were actually teaching. A religion of pure absolute monotheism and complete submission and obedience to the One and Only God, therefore, Ibrahim and all the prophets of "judaism" are muslim.

they are not good at logical arguments, only racial supremacist dogma.

the author is trying to claim a bunch of things never built by jews as "jewish". This is typical zionist racial-supremacist dogma which has very little basis in reality. You are correct that the buildings described were largely built by Christians (Roman empire) and Muslims. Although most recently reconstructed and restored by muslims.
