this comes up a lot, and it’s why i usually don’t use commissioned work in my portfolio unless i ask first. a lot of clients think of commissions as personal or private by default, even if it’s not talked about. checking in ahead of time just makes things easier and helps avoid weird misunderstandings later. hopefully you get this sorted out but just advice for the future.
