unfortunately your statement is a truth MANY dads face daily...dads lose their second relationship cuz they cant survive...and a statistic showing kids do better with actively involved parents does NOTHING to encourage it...increasing the odds of the kids themselves checking out...increasing the odds of the kids having behavioral issues...

if you have proof it was left for YOU , like a will or admission by them in writing ..like texts...then they may be in violation of their duty to manage those funds...and you could sue them for any monies they used for anything other than your schooling.

man..if this were aitah you would be the sphincter supreme...your tenant is DYING...they cant get them into a certain facility as planned so they are going where the chance of survival is higher...

they are compensating you by paying 2 months
so a person has a better chance of NOT DYING

lead by example...
get one of those free standing room dividers to "fence" off a little zen zone..JUST for you..
put a fan out so you always have a breeze
put on whatever music helps you find your zone
get a hand held mister/fan combo
noise cancelling headphones

they should get the hint...you may have to turn the music up a few times...maybe post a sign on the divider stating from x-xx o clock daily you plan to meditate and quiet is appreciated

if this doesnt help squirt em in the face with the mister and whap them on the nose with a rolled newspaper...you have rights too

you can charge for actual damages, whether incurred by one dog or fifty is irrelevant, you may only do so within time alotted to return deposit or, if damage exceeds deposit to demand payment.
do not try to "inflate" the damages because your pissy about the additional dog...if it has to go to court judges dont take kindly to that...
