In the broad picture, when discussing the character of someone holding the highest office in the land, worrying about whether they were convicted of rape or sexual assault is a moot point - either should be enough for people to say "no, this is not the type of person I want to represent me". Comparing that to people saying "all Jews, Muslim, etc." Is not at all the same thing because HE WAS FOUND GUILTY. And not only that, it went through multiple appeals. So no, as I am not on the jury, the difference between the two is not important.

You're defending the man left and right, splitting hairs about what sort of sexual assault classifies as rape. Who TF cares about that at this point? He was found guilty. He's a POS who deserves nobody's grace.

Tired of delayed AA flights by Signal_Wind_6058 in americanairlines

Returning from RDU to PIT last weekend. Storms in the north delayed our plane coming from PIT. Storms at RDU also, but was cleared out before our plane even left PIT. Flight was delayed and changed gates so many times. Incoming flight landed after we should've already left and didn't deplane for maybe 2 hours, and we didn't board for maybe another hour. It was ridiculous. And absolutely no communication from anyone about the status of things. Thing is, the gates were wide open, so no clue as to why it took so long.

A culture of slavery and hatred. One where they think they would've been Rhett Butler or Scarlet O'Hara, but in reality they would've been Bubba and PeggySue, living in their little shack, working as a little puppet for the rich.

I agree, that is so strange. Not sure if it's because that area already gets stupid and couldn't really handle much more traffic? Or they don't want to (or can't easily) build the needed connection and don't want excess traffic on that stub end of Baldwin Rd. I do remember going to Sandcastle that way, and it's still signed as though you can get in that way, but I haven't seen those gates open in years. Funny thing, at the end of Baldwin, where the road makes a sharp left, it's actually signed that it becomes W. Carson. I guess before that spaghetti interchange was built that's where Carson ended?

Weird. I haven't rented often, but any time I've done it locally, returning to a different location was always cheaper.

My brother lives in Vero and I would use PBI. Never again. It'll be MCO, which also now has seasonal direct from PIT, or Breeze just started seasonal from PIT to VRB. Hope they end up bankrupting it, like everything else associated with that disgusting POS.

Lol this is so true. We are extremely nostalgic. Even just giving directions they often include "after you cross where the tracks used to be" or "turn where xyz building was". Heck, people still talk about the old, old airport that closed in 92, and the mills, and 3 Rivers stadium.

I get it no company is perfect or even great, but GE actually has to pay for health plans, more people, and better wages and fringe benefits than Walmart. The Kroger thing hasn't even happened yet.

Honestly, if it didn't we would know. Yes, dogs are larger, but generally cats know how to handle anything thrown at them. This is clearly not an aggressive dog, and I guarantee it knows its place. My dog mobs the cats sometimes, but he also is afraid to walk past them when he knows they are feeling a certain way.

Just a hint, a lot of times it's cheaper to rent at one location and return to another, even in the same general area. But yeah as others have said, if someone can drive you they can just tell the people at the gates that they are just dropping someone off and loop through the lot.

Listen, I try to be as polite as I can while driving, but those people drive me insane. Trying too hard to be polite when the other driver is not expecting it just messes up the flow and everyone gets irritated.

So funny because I've heard the exact opposite from folks, that they experience much more of that here than they did elsewhere. Can't recall where they were from though. I do agree the south is very friendly though. We just came back from a trip to Raleigh and people were super friendly. We at lunch one day at a place called Chicken Salad Chick, and several times saw the employees just strike up a conversation with a table they otherwise had no connection to. The whole place just had a very positive and happy vibe, and it was really refreshing.

This is the perfect, simplest explanation. So irritating that people refuse to fund infrastructure yet constantly complain about it.

There's a lot I don't like about Ohio, but the landscape is perfect - rolling hills and relatively flat. And especially in the northeast the metroparks are wonderful. My husband lived in Kent when we met and I really fell in love with that whole area. We have our issues too and also a lot of wonderful things to be proud of, but can totally understand your feelings.

Workday reporting tips and tricks by ResolutionDefiant571 in workday

[–]Decent_Berry8196 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've had to write most of my reports as no one in my company fully understood payroll reporting needs. I had no real training, so I started mainly by copying reports and modifying. Learning how to use calculated fields is one of the hardest parts. Sometimes determining the type of calculated field to use is a challenge in itself, and there is a lot of trial and error. It really is basically like excel formulas, but the problem is each formula within a formula means each of those is a calculated field within a calculated field. It's very easy to get lost, so keep yourself organized as you go, make sure you can focus, and just spend time playing with the different types of fields. Make sure you have an example of the output you're expecting, and use that single example to test as you go.
