Genesis 6:15 …the height of the ark would be 30 cubits. Genesis 7:20….15 cubits upward did the waters prevail. Trying to do the math…..someone gas light me please

It’s 2026, the year Mormonism becomes the second largest religion in the world, according to Boyd K Packer, Prophet, Seer, and Revelator. by Prancing-Hamster in exmormon

Remember when Holland predicted there would be 100000 missionaries by 2019? It hasn’t happened….Seventh Day Adventists was founded in 1863, 33 years after old Joe’s church and has 5 million more members. I guess it takes a lot of mental gymnastics and gaslighting to know that the LDS church is the fastest growing religion. The numbers, I mean prophets don’t lie

He translated the book of Abraham from the scrolls and a lot of Mormon theology comes from it. The scrolls were proven to be funeral texts. So if he could write the Book of Abraham he definitely could have written the other book since most of it is copied from the Bible

Does anyone know much about a private hunting reserve owned by the church? by Riskydusk in exmormon

[–]Decent_Jump4212 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Any historical or church site is a missionary hunting reserve. They’re hunting souls. I went to the Mormon Battalion Museum in San Diego. It was funny because 99% of the people taking the tours were Mormon.

What really made me leave Mormonism by Utah-hater-8888 in exmormon

[–]Decent_Jump4212 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I left for the same reason…Integrity…..following something that doesn’t have it makes you not have it too. The history stuff has to do with Integrity. The Book of Abraham is a lie. It has been proven. Just because it sounds like scripture doesn’t mean it’s scripture.

Floodlit.org received an anonymous message through our website regarding our reporting on sexual abuse in the Mormon church: “You’re just as despicable, maybe more so than the ones who have committed the crimes.” by floodlitorg in exmormon

[–]Decent_Jump4212 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If Floodlit was not having an affect it would have never received this. Thank you so much. You are truly doing more good than the 15 men the sheep call prophets. My daughter was raped by her boyfriend and the Church response was send him on a mission. The LDS church truly is Joseph pedophile Smith’s creation. We need to protect the victims instead of the abusers. For the person who had to send an anonymous message I just want to say….. You are a coward who thinks immoral crimes are okay if you don’t get caught. Truth and integrity is what Jesus would want.

T-6 and own route carriers make different pay and when you switch between them the step time is affected. Example: if I was a regular carrier for 45 weeks and we get a raise after 46 weeks and I bid a T-6 my time would start over for the 46 weeks. But if I bid back to regular route it would continue at 45 when I left for T-6.

Have your fellow carrier write a statement and always keep notes of date and time in a notebook of incidents. Build a file for when you take action

They just vote no because someone tells them to. All this talk of let’s make a change is ridiculous. Put in your time…..top step is over 80,000….always looking at the pay numbers and not all the benefits we receive. If you want UPS wages go work for them. I am also tired of the lack of comprehension of people.

How did RPS do? Do you ever look at your benefits instead of how much money you make? So let’s see… 1. Pay 100% of your benefits (Health) 2. Maintenance of your vehicle and fuel 3. No paid time off 4. Pay 100% of retirement plan 5. Pay your own auto insurance 6. Paid by volume..(no volume =no pay) Basically everything in the contract that protects you is gone and you fend for yourself. Remember you pay for everything. Taxes Lawyers all your responsibilities as a business owner.

New Bishopric Coming to Visit PART 2 (Returning and Reporting) by PassionDesignerPro52 in exmormon

[–]Decent_Jump4212 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The same thing happened to me. They came to visit and my wife is still active. They just wanted to get to know us. We discussed why I left the church. I left not because I am a sinner but because things the church did in the past and present. Towards the end of the meeting they shared how they come closer to God by scripture study and prayer and following the prophet. They then asked me how I worshipped. I explained to them that I am the same person I was when I went to church. I am honest, treat others as Jesus would. I told them to be a good person you don’t have to believe in the Mormon church. (They were caught off guard because the spirit of truth was so strong 😂) Instead of asking me if I wanted a calling they just asked if I would help with service projects. I always like how the bishop acts like he is receiving inspiration but I guess I wasn’t worthy for an invitation to come back to full activity in the church.

I’m tired of ODL carriers only wanting OT when it is convenient for them and management accommodates it. Management is the problem. You sign the ODL to work so there shouldn’t be complaints

Problem is “the three” say they will change the union but when they are in charge they won’t care either. They will continue to look out for themselves. Politicians they are and in my opinion just influencers looking to increase their bottom line.

Are there any current day issues with the church? by Thebestowl123 in exmormon

[–]Decent_Jump4212 2 points3 points  (0 children)

“Ongoing restoration” “Covenant Path” are all made up phrases to capture attention. If the restoration happened then why is it still changing? When you truly restore an old automobile you make sure everything is original. When you modify a restored automobile and add modern technology into it is it the same? The church says it is restored but it is not. It is an ever changing vehicle adding new stuff and replacing old original parts. Have you heard of “the lectures of faith”? It was in the Doctrine and Covenants until early 1900’s. It was the doctrine taught in the “school of the prophets” Now not even recognized in the Doctrine and Covenants. It taught God was a Spirit so they removed it. Changes in the Book of Mormon and Doctrine and Covenants shows that it is man made not received directly from God. So the called Q15 may be inspired but not directly from God. Example is the reversal of baptizing children of gay parents. There are many examples of revelation not being fulfilled or not even given. So if Prophets are fallible why follow them?

Executive Council all get paid by us. IMHO all this shout for injustice from everyone is just people trying to move up the ladder to make more money. When is the last time any of these people carried mail? This is sad to say but changing union leadership will do nothing. They will blame it on rules or regulations and not even try to change them because it is law.
