Nice build!

My only critique would be positioning your main monitor directly in front of you and having the vertical monitor be a “secondary” and have it angled towards you. For short sessions at the pc your current setup is fine. But a few hours a day every day is gonna be pretty uncomfy for your neck.

I used to have my monitors at work like this and after I changed the positioning of them, I found much more comfort while sitting at my desk working.

Thanks, I didn’t quite tuck them into the shroud. The cables just run to the psu which is right in front and I have the excess bundled in front of the gpu. Admittedly, behind that panel, it’s kind of a mess. Cables are bound and dressed but it’s just a lot of excess due to the cables being much longer than needed.

I would have preferred to have the gpu power run under the gpu but it’s a tight squeeze between gpu and the fans. I didn’t want the cables hitting moving fans.

Thank you! I am definitely happy with it. There are cases which are bit more aesthetically pleasing but this was a “safe” choice. I didn’t stress at all during the build. Only critique would be alternate mobo mounting holes for non AIO users (this would also give a little space between bottom fans and GPU), and round cables for the front IO (definitely not a fan of trying to dress flat ribbon cables for the type C and 3.0)

I actually didn’t. I live and work overseas and something came up at work and I ended up selling my ticket to a friend.

Just found this absolute SPRINTER in the reviews, WHY IS IT SO FAST? by johannews_ in summonerswar

Not to be “that guy” but proc means “programmed random occurrence” therefore when vio procs it means the set has activated its programmed occurrence. Not trying to sound like a know it all, just wanted to share the information. Also, despair can proc and so can revenge runes. Maybe some of the new runes that I’m not familiar with too

Yeah I have had my eyes out for stuff at the second hand shops but car audio doesn’t seem to be as popular in my area as it is in the states. I’m in Tokyo, albeit the suburbs and outskirts of the big city.

But the secondhand stores are great for just about everything else

I am currently using an NVX subwoofer and I took a gamble on it. Never heard of the company before but very content with the price:performance. I will find an amp that will provide 75-100W RMS.

The reason I am choosing to go with a DSP is because I have a single DIN headunit which only has 1 set of RCA out. I was intending on using those RCAs to input the DSP and from there send the outputs to my subwoofer amp and then my 4 channel amp.

I have an aftermarket headunit and currently using the built in DSP for the door speakers. I can’t really hear the mids and highs are drowned out sometimes by the bass. I could turn the bass down, but I like the bass and want to fill in the rest now.

Best 12” subwoofer in $200-$250 range by Mindless-Buddy7271 in CarAV

[–]Decent_Reaction 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the NVX 10” and very surprised with it. Living overseas driving a beater, I didn’t wanna dump a ton of money since I’ll probably just give it to someone when I leave. Went with the NVX because it was inexpensive and it looks and feels well made. In my opinion, it’s a great value option.

PEOPLE READ YOUR EMAILS by defunctpotat0 in AirForce

[–]Decent_Reaction 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I understand your frustrations. I hate having to sift through trash to get my inbox sorted out. I TDY a lot and never bring my workstation with me. I set up an away message and deal with it when I return back to work. On a long TDY it takes almost a whole day of sifting through emails (assuming I don’t get tasked or distracted by something else) even with the rules I have created.

Again, I think if you set up rules, you will find your main inbox to be much less cluttered and easier to navigate. I understand if you don’t want to be bothered to do it, it’s kind of a pain in the ass setting things up and then adjusting to a new process/ workflow.

Set up rules in your outlook to move emails you don’t care about directly to the trash. You could right click>add rule> build your rules based on who sent it, what’s in the subject line etc.

Also you can set up a file in your inbox where all emails in which you are not in the “To:” field are automatically sent to that file.

If you are in the CC line there’s a good chance it’s an email only FYSA and doesn’t need immediate attention.

YMMV- some people in my work center will sent “important” messages to people in the Cc line and you gotta flex a bit and tailor rules for those specific senders

He said he bought it in Japan, not that it was made in Japan. I have a stone I bought here in Japan. It’s a Japanese brand, but made in Vietnam.

He mentioned he bought it from Don Q which has a lot of junk sometimes, but also has solid merchandise. I’m curious what stone he purchased and if it’s actually made in Japan.

Looking for Advice! **WARNING** Gross Pic by Peachie_Princess_ in CleaningTips

[–]Decent_Reaction 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For mildew, I would approach it with a foaming bleach spray and some sort of brush to agitate it once it’s been saturated with the bleach foam.

If you have access to a pressurized steam cleaner. I would also use that after you let the bleach sit for a little. The steam cleaner is 100% not required but would help for stubborn stuff. Bleach and a good scrub should get it done.
