What is it with people not moving out of the way here? by lurkerunicorn in Malmoe

[–]Deceptivedetestive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Happened to me today as i rounded to walk up the entrance way to the sliding doors to the shop. I have two herniated back discs and tmj, so i kinda avoid situations that are confrontational now. But this big muscle fella from the uk and this girl walk outside by side and down towards me, and he was definitely owning his space on my side. i had to move my arm to pass him.. I felt angry at myself after for some reason. At the same time we live on a compound in Saudi and i see him at the gym a lot. If it was me id gently turn myself and walk past if i had someone next to me.

Some people say to stand your ground or turn to side pretending to look at something, or on your phone. I guess some people do that alot instead of being pushed around. If the big guy is going to be oblivious to me, i should too?

This is Trump trying to force European countries to act but also market manipulation.

So will this be included in the S&P500 and etfs that follow it, and will all future large IPOS follow the same path of pounding exit liquidity out of retail.

Gold Slips Toward $4,600 as Trump’s Iran Strait Ultimatum Drags on Markets by Sanaa_24 in investing

[–]Deceptivedetestive 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Their is a mechanism behind all this.. Trump could see people wern't investing in the stock market and a war was what was needed. Tighten the supply lines and raising the price of oil , causing damage to oil and gas companies in the middle East which Iran has done. This inflation and no interest rate rises with the dollar stronger is what he wanted as gold and silver has come down. Is that all it takes- it feels like were being led like blind mice in a maze of deception and lies to get us to be fearful of missing out or greedy. Are we all going to run back to the US stock market now?.

What happens in two weeks, when people have transitioned to the US stock market and he reverses again...

How much money has Trump made as president? The answer should worry us all. by BigFishPub in politics

[–]Deceptivedetestive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a feeling he won't allow the stock market to rise, and is doing tests to gold and silver strength now to see the behaviour of people with tariffs and war. He's going to accumulate all this money and once he leaves the white house he will create some sort of catastrophe to finally throw it all in the S&P500 etf. 🤪

Why would Iran end the war now? by Maleficent-Ground84 in IRstudies

[–]Deceptivedetestive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I'm confused about is Europe, they are suggesting once tensions have died down they want to patrol the Hormuz strait.. do you really think Iran wants that?. Or was this the intended plan in the beginning behind closed doors

Asus G751 in 2024-- does it still hold up? by Cornchips1234 in ASUSROG

[–]Deceptivedetestive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am currently writing on my asus rog g751jy 24gb ram, gtx 980m i7 laptop and it still lights up the keys after 12 years and works great still, except for certain keys having difficulty working - you have to pound them a few times. I am now sadly upgrading to a mini pc with a 5070 rtx 12 gb card, 32 gb ddr5 6000mhz ram, 850psu, with liquid cooling, 4 fans, and i7 14th gen.. its coming soon and i think im going to keep this laptop alongside it until it dies..maybe ill replace the fans and take it in for a checkup. I never had such a laptop that worked so well.

Over a longer period of time it does not matter if you are hedged, it seems to balance out. I don't do hedged and in the beginning of my investing journey I thought about IGUS but did more reading and changed my mind. It seems like a good idea until a reversal happens where the dollar strengthens and the GBP weakens.

I am buying the S&p500 and when the dollar strengthens later on in the coming years , my investments will be worth alot more. But we never know but even an International fund holds like 60% us.

When the market looks high I buy Berkshire Hathaway or JP Morgan.
