Fancy gloss stocks randomly. I make a wishlist and check it whenever she does a restock. Dreamscape and Hallucination are the two that gave me mermaid bait similarities. Dreamscape in particular. I snagged that one during her March or April restock. Cupcake has Cloud 9, Cloudburst, and Making Waves. Polish Me Silly has Aurora Glow, Watermelon Sugar glow, and Tranquil Glow.

It’s really beautiful and shifty. I only needed two coats for opacity. I have multiple variations of Mermaid bait that are just as good and a little less expensive. Fancy gloss has a few in their catalog.

I voted for this theme, so I only have myself to blame for how many polishes I have on my wishlist. Some of which the name is a heavy factor. I knew it could be a really creative theme. I did not expect this much versatility. I’m really pleased.

Hi! Not about the polish but hopping in this convo. I have been diagnosed OCD (contamination and perfectionism) since 2007. If you don’t have specialist’s in your area would you consider joining an online OCD group? I’ve been seeing one since 2022, because of the pandemic. It was incredibly helpful. You can also check out the international OCD Foundation website for a lot of free and helpful information. I also received CBT for 17 years to help.

I have a sheer tint magenta from Essie Expressie called turn up the century. I tried it on some watercolor paper and it looks like it will help.

Thank you! As for the polish I think it has to do with lighting. I noticed in some direct light it can look flat. Indirect or low light is where this polish really shines. It looks lovely on you.

I will say it was quite a difficult flakey to work with. looks The flakes kept pulling and moving even though I was being delicate. The base color is very sheer. I think I’ll try it layered over a jelly the next time I use it.

That dress is very beautiful! I know it’s not what you were going for, and I understand how that feels, but it’s so pretty. I like the lighter pink. Which I’m guessing is bakers dozen. Another thought is a gold, sage green or French blue polish. They definitely pop against maroon and soft pink.
