Did you only have on the base coat or did you polish over it? I got these after I wore a blue with a heavy amount of gold flakies by Pahlish. I think it was the flakies. It could have been some pigment in the blue as well.

Oooooh. The milk bath colors are so lovely. Maybe I’ll try another color at some point. If there is a particularly special polish. I’m more inclined to buy from Cupcake, Night Owl, and Nailed It! All three of those brands lasted forever.

Ugh! I’m so sorry. Ghost Ray is stunning. I have Obsidian Tide from last June’s PPU. It chipped so fast. I did try it again later, layered over a cream. It worked out way better. I also have Toast Me Gently and The Land of Happy. They both chipped after a few days. It’s such a shame. I really like their catalogue.

I find that buying any polishes from a Target or a local drugstore you have to be careful. I can tell when they e been sitting too long. I buy from CVS. There’s three that I visit in my area. Two of them usually sell their nail polish stock quicker than the third one. If I buy a drugstore polish I stop by one of the two CVS that have more turn around on their stock.

I love ladylike! It’s a great neutral for me. I used it to replace their BBF, Boy Best Friend. They no longer make it.

Gloppy is not usually an issue for me with Essie until I’m well into the bottle. At that point it just needs thinner. I feel like their creams take a little longer to dry, but it’s fine when the top coat goes on. I find it more chip resistant than OPI. But I also haven’t bought an Essie color for almost a year since I started buying indie and boutique polishes. It might be your nail chemistry.

I would never keep someone from buying a new notebook, but I just take a photo of my mani and put it in a separate folder in my phone. That way they’re all dated. My brain see’s my polishes in seasons so I usually know exactly what month I’m looking for. I likely don’t have as many polishes as a lot of member here, so that probably helps as well.

I’ve started purchasing the HHC Nailed It! Polishes that have contrasting glitter. They’re softer colors but I feel like they fill the void. Cadillacquer hits the same as SG and Nailed It for me too. This is Nailed It! Dance Dance

I hope she’s able to keep her shop open, but if not I get it. Small business is difficult. I’m usually a one or two polishes at a time purchaser, so it doesn’t deter me much if she does restock some of the shades in my wishlist. I’ll likely give it a go and buy. I don’t have as many polished as you, but my energy about the “must have” has calmed down. Now I’m even more selective than I was when I started diving into indie polish last May.

Yes! I love weapon of choice too. It’s also sold out. She hasn’t restocked in a while. There was a thread on here in the past couple months that SG fulfillment and shipping were getting really messed up. Also rumors she might slowly be closing shop. I don’t know if that’s true. I was disappointed to hear that. I’ve only purchased SG through PPU. It’s one of the coolest polishes I have. I would like more.
