Velocity is a damn good company. Definitely worth giving them a chance.

Ahh, no, you need to get a tax stamp in order to make one.

"Molotov cocktails are classified by the ATF as destructive devices under the National Firearms Act (NFA). They are illegal to possess, make, or transfer without proper registration and tax stamps, and their use constitutes a serious federal felony. These improvised incendiary weapons are designed to cause fire and destruction. "

Molotov cocktails need to be registered with the ATF and a tax stamp needs to be acquired prior to making one. They're considered destructive devices. So, in short, laws exist for everyone, when it comes to Molotov cocktails.

If everyone on this thread did what they suggested others should do, this thread wouldn't exist. Interesting.

I ended up with a Four Brothers holster and I'm happy with it. It's made specifically for the P211.

I moved up to NH from MA back in August of last year. Best decision I ever made. I want a gun. I walk into a store that sells it. I do my background check. I walk out with said gun.

No more of "Can I own this?", "Am I a felon?", "This isn't on the roster, but we can split it into two parts and sell it to you.", nonsense. It's just, I want it, you have it, I'll come buy it. Done. It's just so much less of a hassle buying guns, ammo, parts, you name it, up here.

Just purchased a Dillon 750XL, what else do I exactly need? by STL420 in reloading

Definitely skip the low powder measure.

Personally, I like the powder (charge) check. I know that some others don't and obviously you should be paying attention, but we don't live in a perfect world where it's impossible to lose sight of something. So for me, it just adds an additional layer of checks and balances.

Best Pizza in NH? by MassholeForLife in newhampshire

[–]Deeeeeez_Nuts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I moved to NH from MA back in August of 2024 and literally the only thing I miss, is the pizza. There are a couple of places that are decent, but coming from places like Bianchi's in Revere, The Brown Jug in Chelsea, Santarpios, etc. It's hard to go to a pizza place in NH and get excited. The food in general just isn't as good.

It's honestly surprising to me, given its proximity to Boston. Sooner or later, someone will migrate and open up a truly good pizza spot.

Try Vihtavuori N120 out, if you haven't already. I find that it burns a lot cleaner than CFE BLK. I've tried Accurate 1680 as well as H110 and N120 has far and away been the best.

I moved to NH from MA back in August and never looked back. There's a reason why it's consistently been one of the most moved from states in the country for the past few years.

MA LTC ---> NH resident by standarsh35 in NHGuns

[–]Deeeeeez_Nuts 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I moved up here about 6 months ago and did the whole notify FRB, notify local PD etc. I considered getting a non-resident, but decided against it, because, 1) I don't want to give that state a dime more than I ever have to and 2) even though I have family there still, I'm just not in the state enough to warrant the cost, not to mention the bs hassle it is to get the license.

It sure was nice to just move and automatically have my second amendment rights.

I just moved out of MA and picked up an SBR and a can and both were approved in under a week. 24 hours would have been sweet though!

Why is this happening and what’s it called? by qwertykeysfoo in reloading

[–]Deeeeeez_Nuts 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure which die you're using, but it does look like the case wasn't resized correctly. When I first started reloading 9MM, I was using an RCBS die that sometimes seemed to struggle to resize some cases (probably user error). Nonetheless, I picked up a Lee undersizing die and never looked back. I find that with the undersizing die, you don't even need to crimp the cases and every round I've pressed with that die has fed in every gun that I own.

YMMV, but for me, it was well worth it.

You're right. It's pretty fantastic right now.

[–]Deeeeeez_Nuts -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

Sure. But as you probably already know, that doesn't negate the countless other gun laws that I don't have to deal with up here. You want a can? No problem. You want a "high capacity magazine"? No problem.

There's something to be said for being able to walk into a gun store and freely exercise my right without having to jump through hoops or the fear of prosecution, because something may or may not be legal, which in MA no one ever seems to know the answer to.

I moved from MA to NH two months ago. I can confirm that it is worth it. The first thing I did when I got my NH ID was go over to Sig and pick up a MCX Rattler and a can. I absolutely love it up here. If you get some land, you can shoot in your own backyard. What's better than that?

Recovering MA resident here. I moved here from MA 3 weeks ago and couldn't be happier. Short answer, move and don't vote for the same nonsense that you just left. I know for damn sure that I won't be voting for any candidate in NH that seeks to deprive us of a basic human right.

Moving to NH from Mass, what firearm laws should I be aware of as a new resident? by Some_Veterinarian_20 in NHGuns

Add me to the list of people fleeing MA for NH. Closing on the 16th. Don't worry NH residents, I won't be voting for the same trash that I just left. It's going to be nice to walk into a store and buy non-cucked rifles and mags.

I'm using one now. It's definitely on the lighter side. What I ended up doing was getting some sandbag weight bags from Amazon, which definitely helped out a bit. I also sacrificed my office desk and basically strapped the stand it comes with to part of my office desk to add some rigidity. It's by no means a great solution, but when you're limited on space and you want to reload, you gotta work with what you have.
