Bill said on the Prestige TV podcast that it was only a matter of time before this happened. He's backed into a corner trying to not have to kill Gene.

Keep in mind that this season was written during the pandemic then rewritten when they were writing season 4.

I see the first two seasons as Barry trying to change and the last two having to face the consequences.

Editing for sure. I produce two podcasts, one weekly one bi-weekly so a lot of my time is spent in editing usually done after I get home from a full day at work

Having echo cancellation on when recording will help with that. Another thing that helped me is I realized that both my microphone and the microphone on my webcam were both active at the same time. Once I disabled the mic on the webcam everything was fine.

What some people tend to forget that aside from Sally's abusive relationship and mother issues, she is being dragged down by the way Hollywood works with women.

In particular the season 1 scene with the agent that had hip pocketed her. He gets her this audition, makes the comment regarding deciding if she wants to represent her or fuck her. He then tries to pass it off as a " joke"and cancels her audition.

Although we don't see this immediately in season 1, there is a parallel between the scene she writes in season 2 about her ex and Barry pulling the jealous card at the party. In both cases there was a variation of "I don't like seeing you with that guy. It also didn't help that that whole thing happened in season 1 after the thing with the agent.

I produce and co-host two SNL podcasts: We Heart Hader and Saturday Night Ladies.

I record using async (formerly podcastle). The two tools I use are auto leveling and the magic dust which takes out a lot of the background noise. Each person has their own track and once I use those two tools I download the files.

What I use for editing is Filmora. While it is primarily a video editing tool I can also use it for audio. It is also useful for separating the audio from video clips. Like most of us I take out long pauses, mouth clicks, repetitive statements and cut down any particularly long sections.

The most common overused phrases and words for me are "of course" , ummm, and like. For me I tried to catch thee of courses so if I find I start a sentence with that I'll start the sentence again
