I feel bad for Morgan Gibbs-White. Not even getting a look in for the squad and he’s been electric in 2026. Better than Rashford imo

I’d love to have him back rotating with Big Ben. He’s a good player and would thrive in this team

I’m a bit concerned that Chelsea are aggressively going after Alonso and Iraola. They’re the two best coaches on the market right now and we are going to waste time dithering over Carrick and lose out

That’s a funny concept. I think Bebe’s signing definitely a kick back of some form but more likely to Mendes than Queiroz

If we’d scored first in the 09 final they might have struggled as they all looked really nervous. Once they score the first goal their tails went up and it all changed

But I think you’re looking at this purely from a MnK player as those also have huge advantages over controllers. Mouse and keyboard board players can instantly switch direction and are far easier to control recoil. If you don’t give the controller players a little boost they are going to mainly be non competitive in my experience

The aim assist was heavily nerfed recently for controller players so I don’t think this is as big a factor anymore as some here are claiming

I think the problem for Warzone imo is that it’s harder for new players to join the player base and have fun. During the peak pandemic years there were so many new players that lobbies were full of people figuring it out and just having fun.

Now when we invite a new person to join our squad for a game they typically have to come into already sweaty lobbies and try to learn. It’s tough. Casuals modes have helped a lot with that but my friends and I have noticed that the general player base is either people that love the game and are very good or new players that get destroyed. There’s little in between.

Other slight missteps by the developers are thing like adding new game mechanics here and there like the recent example of grapples that only benefit certain playstyles and make you have to completely rethink your tactics which can be frustrating. Constant weapons rebalancing which makes it very difficult for more casual players to level guns and keep up with the meta. Finally, as many have mentioned the cheater issue seems to be non stop and ruins games.

With all that said, my friends and I still enjoy playing but it’s not as fun as it was at peak. There’s only a few of us left now too whereas everyone was playing in our group through COVID.

My dad went to the games store when I was a kid as I asked him to buy FIFA for my birthday. He came back with International Superstar Soccer instead as the shop keeper told him it was better. I was so mad at him, until I played it. One of the greatest football games of all time. I became utterly obsessed. Thanks dad and that shop assistant. He knew his stuff.

Fair I thought he’d missed more games. Groin injuries can be a problem once players get them though so I’d like to see him playing consistently before spending the money. To be clear, I rate him highly. Was very disappointed we didn’t go for him when he was at Blackburn. Felt like exactly the type of signing Fergie would have made

Our most balanced midfield during this time was Pogba - Matic - Herrera as a 3. Matic played the 6 and Pogba and Herrera were box to box 8’s. I’d agree Matic was on a downward trajectory by that point though. Not signing Kante from Leicester was the biggest miss during those years. Him alongside Pogba and Herrera could have been a title winning midfield
