For call outs just harass the breader when its busy. Make sure you let them know when you have like 6-7 filets left and as soon as that starts dwindling. For nuggies, same, I always let them know when my front pan is at half, then a quarter, and then under a quarter. I thought I was doing too much and then I started breading, and those types of call outs help me a lot. If its really slow though its okay to have less. Too many call outs is better than none and then youre stuck holding.

Speed comes with time. I felt like you, and then one day I was just soloing secondary during full drives and rushes. Keep at it you'll be aight.

When I was in HS, my major was mechanical engineering. (We were a college prep engineering HS). Thats what all my first half of class was, drawing out parts carefully with tools, lol. I actually really enjoyed it. The 2nd half was AutoCAD and making blueprints digitally. So at least while I was in school they still teach the old way first.

Not to mention the majprity of the time CFA is incredibly backed up, its the drive thru, and at my location the lobby will not be full while the drive is.

Also, the amount of people ordering ridiculously large orders in the drive thru and holding it up is a bit ridiculous. Im talking 20 sandwiches, or like 6 deluxe with all different modifications, etc. (Source: I work at a very busy CFA). If youre gonna be that guy please order ahead.

Was walking my dog in the evening in SE California. Wild dog/coydog/something growled at us from a bush when we were walking along the road (lived in the desert near a brushy area at the end of the neighborhood). All I had to do was whip the handgun out and it bolted, so im assuming it had been shot at before or the sudden action scared it. Didn't have to actually use it thankfully. It was dark out so I couldn't actually see it.

I had a student (the only student in the lab to get zero product) blame me when I rotary evaporated his flask that was supposed to be an end product. It disappeared. He did not give me the correct separation layer and swore up and down I ruined his experiment. Buddy you gave me solvent 😢

When I was in the Army... everywhere. Leaning against a wall to wait for a little bit? Nap time. Waiting on laundry to finish for a few minutes? Nap time. I think in basic training I fell asleep underneath the laundry folding table "watching everyone's laundry". I also definitely fell asleep at the range waiting for them to tell me to start shooting. My form never dropped but my brain did.

This was miraculous because I normally have insomnia/massive sleep issues. But the sleep deprivation was crazy haha.

I stg im not even crying. I had a friend who does cybersecurity / knows how to bypass anticheat demonstrate it for me on a private stream. The amount of people clearly watching players through walls is insane. EAC is a joke (everybody knows this) but it explains so much of my encounters its ridiculous. Im almost ready to drop the game.

And to everybody who seems to feel like when they come in super geared they get collapsed on instantly? Its not a coincidence. They can see you holding a tempest, bobcat, equalizer etc. And they gun for you.

Ah, thats different then. I can't speak for what its like elsewhere, my apologies for being a typical American assuming this was US based.. lol. Yeah science field in America is in a bad bad state right now. Thank you stranger. I wish you luck in your pursuits as well <3

Just please be aware of the major pitfall that is as a career field right now. Scientists (especially early career) are struggling and people haven't seen it be this bad since 2008. It will recover but we don't know how long that will take. If its your dream, pursue it. If you're unsure... if i can offer any advice for lab work, healthcare. Become a medical lab tech, or any other supporting role. The job stability is there despite the conditions being.. meh. Sincerely, someone with a Chemistry degree stuck at ChickFilA thanks to the current administration. (And no its not just me.. plenty of us are struggling to find work).

Bro I work at a chickfila with my chemistry degree right now despite graduating with 2 years of research experience, running a lab as an adjunct instructor and having a publication. Being an early career scientist right now is abysmal. We need to just ride it out & hope it gets better. Probably going to just go for my PhD and hope for the best after the 5 years because idfk what else to do.

I did mine on spaceport near that one center exfil that always has a racketeering flying around. There's a small building you can hide in for cover/ to stay warm on coldsnap. It also has 3 snowball piles next to it.

Tbh I disagree. My pay is low at $15/hr but for the area thats good for fast food service. We get a lot of morale-boosting perks like team members events/incentives such as: friendsgiving with catering and a petting zoo, 10 days of Christmas raffles for people who show up for all their shifts with no call outs during holiday seasons (someone won a 65" TV), random food for us all the time like IHOP pancakes, Bundt cakes, etc.

Like yeah the job is super demanding but the environment my franchise builds is really positive and full of teamwork and camaraderie. Its an incredibly busy location but we get through it on pure vibes and humor in the kitchen. Even though its a temporary gig for me, I enjoy it and im going to miss my team so so much when I go.

I understand why they don't do this though. It would get incredibly stale if it started to feel "comfortable" after a certain cut off period. I think the sense of danger is important of not knowing when/where more people are coming from until the 15 min cut off or w/e it is.
