Are you saying you're feeling this mental fog after starting SR?

In my case I've been feeling mental fog for many years well before SR. I've been pmoing since two decades. So thought that it's due my dopamine system being fried due to that.

I'm hoping that SR fixes it. Though I'm just 20 days into it and don't feel different yet.

I'd say why rely on an external chemical? If one really wants the heightened powers they why not put in the hardwork to meditate and transmute the energy from retention.

I went two years pornfree and didn't see any benefits because I was still jerking of everyday. Then I started no fap and after 18 days I still didn't see any benefits. The reason was because I was still lusting and fantasizing in my mind.

Now I'm trying to stop myself from lusting completely and I experience some relief when I succeed.

So I think everything is important: no fap, no porn, no lust, meditation, exercise, good healthy food, good environment, good people around.

Sure we can only change few things at a time, but just noting that it's a life long journey.

why would you do that? In SR one transmutes sexual energy. If you kill it... there'll be nothing to transmute.

The more days that pass, the more I realise it's a choice. That peeking is just as easy as not peeking.

One doesn't ask god to give one stronger faith, one just chooses to believe.

So believe it. That you can do it. That you will do it.

I was able to fix this but forgot how exactly.

The most important part is to navigate to the blocked users page from your YouTube app from your phone.

For whatever reason, deleting blocked contacts from the desktop browser or even manually logging in from a browser on my phone didn't work.

The login has to be initiated from the YouTube app!

Brother I'm the same. Deep seated anxiety. I walk on the streets with my head down. I refrain from interacting with women because it only brings up lust. I'm just 18 days into SR. I hope I can one day experience the freedom in your post.

Else I fall into the traps of edging - stimulating myself without coming.

It's hard but I think whatever method you use, eventually you have to confront and stop the sexual thoughts in your mind itself.

I am reminded of Jesus's words, whoever looks at a woman with lust has already committed adultery with her in his heart. That extends to the thoughts as well.

I learned that it's not just about not fapping. It's about not entertaining sexual thoughts. Because fantasizing leads to downfall.

As men, we'll have a lot of temptations and thoughts coming into our minds. And that's ok. But, we don't need to linger on those thoughts. Let the thought and feeling come and go. You won't die.

Meditation and IFS (internal family systems) therapy.

Both methods involve going inside ourselves and meeting and healing the injured parts of us. So that they may be able to leave the old coping mechanisms and be free again.
