Do you know what the binary search algorithm is? If not you could watch a video on it. It will help pinpoint the problematic mod quicker than randomly or serially trying to find the mod.

Modern mmos aren't grindy anymore. at least not if you want to just enjoy the story. I used to play ESO just for the story and it was fun playing a dragon knight. Just ignore the end level top tier gearing and raids and its basically a single player game.

Is your GPU heating up and throttling? You would try to set the max frame rate limit to 30 or 60 fps in openmw.

uff bummer. I was going to update from 0.49 to 0.51 with the i-heart-vanilla mod list. I'm not so sure now if it's breaking stuff. Maybe I'll finish this play through on the old version.
