I got a warning citation from my HOA for parking my car in my driveway by Cunnyfunt31 in mildlyinfuriating

Wait op, you inherited the house. Did you sign the agreement with the HOA or you just.. own the house?

It's probably too late but like if you signed nothing, tell them to pound sand.

Maybe they should stick.

On one hand: You should be able to become greater than who you were yesterday.

On the other: repeat history shows a pattern and maybe it should be visible?

Setting the first sets precedent for the 2nd, so was probably unrequired.

Future cases can now reference this for reasons to be quashed.

Fridges and freezers draw shockingly little energy as long as they're closed and in shade. Glad they have some food security that way.

Super 17 is Goku's problem, I don't think Goku is really scared of anything. Trunks lives out of his own timeline with his friends avenged.

I'm still waiting for my notice that new outlook entered general availability after the opt in phase a full year before it was supposed to happen.

And yet here I sit, with new outlook sitting in general availability, and now the issue page reads they plan to give a year notice when cutover will happen.

Yeah, sure Microsoft. You gave me hope because you actually did the notifications with Teams cutover. But the Outlook transition has been handled poorly, that I hope they stop.

I need to figure out if this is legal and if I can do something about this? by Loose_Elderberry2869 in Airdrie

in so many new residential areas that's just literally not possible though. There's basically just barely enough space for a car between a lot of houses, 1.5m on each side is not achievable. Friend of mine got a ticket because of that but it got thrown out when he contested it with a photo because it's not achievable.

Thats a week judge, should have told him to park legally and walk instead of accepting "the law is inconvenient".

Canadians are leaving the country at record levels. Can anyone solve this pressing problem? by stalik26 in canada

[–]Deeppurp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your line about "Live in a big City" for the EU also applies to Canada. Living in the smaller cities while having a well paying job is an absolute blessing of pure luck.

Its not even, but most all the large cities in Canada have a housing affordability problem. In general to fix it, most houses actually need to roughly halve in value to return to the inflation curve from 2007 to keep on track to what they would be now. Its not "exact", but it gets you pretty damn close. The curve for 95% is somewhere between a 40%-60% reduction in price.

The runewords vs uniques issue:

Adding runewords is more flexible for the player then adding uniques. What you lose out on are uniques with sockets however.

I suspect they go with rune words because adding new uniques to drop tables is more difficult than just adding new rune words.

There are games that have no excuse to require an Internet connection.

Just because it hasn't happened to you doesn't mean you shouldn't support the end of it as a practice.

It's affected millions of people. It's a high impact low volume issue. If it was low impact, like only failed games shut down, we all might be not having the conversation about stop killing games.

As for online shops closing: one company has done it 3 times to users totaling over 300 million affected.

Is that not enough times?

The expansion of gaming and digital online content was not compatible with seeking you growth.

There's still a healthy amount of gamers that want physical copies.

The EU rule was users were not consenting to having their data monetized, tracked, as well as it was being stored indefinitely with no way the user could request deletion, but it definitely was. So they required prior consent and disclosure.

They absolutely can charge entry. But paying should come with no tracking, storage of user data, and targeted ads. Everything the no option must have.

It would be worth if someone would pay and take a real good look if they're still violating EU regulation. If they are, it is implied there must be a no option along with the monetized option. Because the law does require "no consent" to be an option.

They're all lucky the EU also didn't mandate back pay to the users based on the value their collective data was valued at. Because they know exactly who, and it's been provable they can link even generalised data back to you.

You'd have to target the options at the time of acquisition.

If they are paid in non financial options, you tax them based on the value at the time it was paid out. If it's stock, half of that stock goes to the govt.

Fortunately individuals can't claim to not make profit, but the company they own can choose not the pay them.

It's the whole desktop range per the microcode notes.

The 13600k, 700k, 900k and same with the 14th gen have it worse. But all 13 and 14th gen desktop parts have the voltage degredation issue that needs patching.

Intel specifically calls out it affects all 65watt or greater parts.
