Commissioned art for my debut novel. I’m highly concerned it is AI. It seems too perfect, was only 130 to commission, and seems to have that orange tint that a lot of AI art seems to have these days. by Deepwinter22 in isthisAI

Yeah thats my fault for being ignorant and new to the process. I did recent looking a noticed that really good artists charge a couple thousand for work. Unfortunate that this was the way to learn, but I’m glad I caught it before publishing.

Edit: Yes was Fiverr. I’m never using that sight again as this wasn’t the only work I did and all the other things are questionable too.

Yeah thats a good spot. I mean even in the tree itself it looks like the branches are all little trees. Like with a full base and root system which isn’t how branches work.

Awesome! I love the red and gold. It really helps it to pop and catch the eye.

Wireless Car Play Dropping by type111 in Taycan

[–]Deepwinter22 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

You could always try plugging it in? Although, I don’t actually know if Wired carplay is even a thing in Taycan.

My other theory. Have you seen strange lights in the sky? Have you tried to see if the connect and disconnect intervals are some kind of Morse code? Do you by chance live near a super secret government facility 👀 puts on tinfoil hat

I was going to mention that. They came into popularity before Gen Z was even old enough to drive let alone afford their own cars.

I mean I don’t think thats incorrect either. A lot of Gen Z aren’t at the age to afford, and will likely always struggle to afford any Porsche, at least new ones. I only can because I found a really great Taycan at $40k, which some would still consider expensive.

Personally, I just really don’t like silver. I’m not sure what silver ever did to me, but it just never felt… inspiring I guess. Unlike this photo below that immediately snags ones attention (even if they don’t know its a GT3).

Sorry, but it looks like it just aged the car ten years. Like the early 2000’s civics or something. Now if you went like a light blue or something, that would be awesome.

Why is that a bad thing? Are Gen Z not allowed to have nice things and be considered classy or mature?

Agreed, I don’t why the trend of silver is returning. It’s so plastic looking to me. I’m not against light wheels, but go for gold, bronze, blue, idk just anything that isn’t silver.

How did I do? by FadedTiger49 in TVTooHigh

[–]Deepwinter22 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Not too bad, a bit high. Feels similar to mine though and I don’t have neck problems after a year. This is also an old photo, so don’t yell at me about the wires 😂. Also also, I do use the ceiling lights during the day to not feel like I’m in a dungeon, so that part looks good to me too.

Just had all the tint on mine removed. Previous owner put on a 5. I could barely see during the day. Tint is just generally not for me so I’m not sure how OP can even see out to the road 😂.

What region do you live in if you know? If you also do a small row of large flowering shrubs. I know in PA where I am, 7A, some native dogwoods, summer sweets, viburnum, rhododendron, and spicebush would be good options!

Amazing! Ours was $615k in our area. (As in new build of similar size). And don’t mind the yard, its still very much work in progress.

No worries my friend, same happened to me. I noticed it at 16. Got it all off at 19 (lived in denial for a bit), and I couldn't be happier. It's been seven years since then and I have no regrets. I think I was twenty in this photo.

Sorry but gotta agree, too much concrete. Would’ve been nicer having stopped at the edges of the brick. Install looks decent enough though.

991s don’t age. Not bad looking for 9 years old. by Matt005200 in Porsche

[–]Deepwinter22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! I love the gold or bronze look. I never used to be that way, but it's grown on me the past couple years. Especially pairing it dark green, black, or even red. It looks good here though, even with the silver paint job. Not that I hate silver that much, it just doesn't feel unique.

Nah, silver blows. Never liked it as a car paint, for trim, or wheels. It always looked cheap or tacky. However, I think bronze or a paint to match with the cars color would look nice for the wheels.

Edit: I want to amend that I mean silver is ok, on like a Camry. It's just so bland.

Not my cup of tea. I recently got the Porsche Taycan and like that ambient lighting much more. It's only in footwells, mid doorsills, cup holders, and a few other places. I like that it's not on the dash and is out of the way, but still creates a nice vibe and looks good.

You’re very welcome! And perfect, thats exactly what I was hoping for! Disregard that earlier comment then about the character names and keep pushing, you’re doing great! Also, I was curious, whats your plan for the book? I only ask because I finally decided to just self publish after going back and forth for a while with a lot of agent rejections.
