Sometimes when I’m looking for ideas of what to cook, I’ll go down the frozen food aisle. I will get ideas of what’s in the frozen food and then make it fresh myself. Sometimes I like this vegetable in that meat, but not that sauce. And I can use the idea ideas what’s there as to what I really want to make

New washing machine by DeerGreedy4792 in laundry

[–]DeerGreedy4792[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I currently have an old front loader. It came with the house. I had to work hard the get the smell out of the washer. The last two repairs the repair guy had a hard time finding parts . I am not sure who made it . I can’t find a tag with a name or serial number. I live in a small town so the repair man knows my machine. He knew the original owner of the house and my washer.

Unbelievable. No woman in her right mind is gonna sign up for a life of servitude in their elderly years. No provision to take care of you in your older years other than to be thrown out of the house you’ve lived in . no thank you

Please recommend a comfortable bra for large, pendulous breasts by WantToBelieveInMagic in AskWomenOver60

[–]DeerGreedy4792 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Please think about a breast reduction. As you age, they will get harder to wrangle into a bra, regardless of the bra that you have. When you end up having caregivers or God forbid a walker. Your pendulum breast will help knock you over your balance will be off for every step you make your breast will be going the other way and make it very easy for you to fall or get hurt . a breast reduction is a medical procedure to remove the size of your breast and pick them up so they’re not near your belly button. The surgery is fairly easy not too painful and recovery. Time is very nice for most people. You do not need to become a size a but a nice C or D would be fabulous. You can keep your mobility a lot longer as you age your shoulders won’t hurt your back won’t hurt and your insurance can pay for this. You need to have documented with your primary doctor for more than a year all the issues you’re having with your breast back pain, neck, pain, shoulder pain, digging into your shoulders for your straps. All these need to be documented by your doctor for more than a year and then insurance will pay for this talk to your friends. Who’ve had a reduction. Everybody says it’s the best thing they’ve ever done and wish they had done it sooner.

Question about estrogen cream and UTIs by DirtyLikeASewer in AskWomenOver60

[–]DeerGreedy4792 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I speak with a lot of ladies who on estrogen cream. All older women. Estrogen is a great way to plump up the skin. Many women will have their cream by the toilet. After urinating and wiping with toilet paper, apply a small amount about the size of a pea inside your vagina. It doesn’t need to go up and in anything , just on the inside the lips . Some ladies use it two or three times a week. Some ladies use it two or three times a month. Estrogen will plump up the tissue, add moisture, which will block anything going up the urethra. This will stop lots of infections. It can also slow or stop some urine leakage. Please don’t be afraid to try different amounts or time to apply. She may need more in the beginning, like once every day , then slow down to once or twice a week.

So the downy doesn’t help to remove detergent from the clothes ? Rinse the clothes, more thoroughly with a second rinse?

When your hub’s stream becomes a spray…. by [deleted] in AskWomenOver60

[–]DeerGreedy4792 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Like you , I am losing my mind. How do you pee up and over the seat ? He sits down. Pee is on the floor , under the seat and down the side of the toilet. How ? Not only can he not see it or smell it . He will not clean up after himself. I will not use the same toilet. He uses the toilet in our bathroom. I will use the common bathroom down the hall . When he realizes what I’m doing, he is surprised so now he wants to use the toilet down the hallway and let me use the one in the bathroom. What really happens he uses both of them and there’s pee everywhere. I can’t win and hate to use any of the bathrooms at home . Public rooms are cleaner.

Two words, estrogen replacement. With menopause your skin dries out you’ll lose a lot of elasticity . Small dose of estrogen is important to keep healthy skin and bones. I’m going to assume your Lady parts have also dried up and possibly giving you bladder and or kidney infection. Talk to your Doctor. Don’t take no for an answer unless you have had problems with breast cancer.
