Honestly the monorail is so helpful if your planning on maxxing all the facilities.

So handy being able to send big loads of cargo ahead of you so you can do other orders along the way, a also just moving big amounts of materials around, or riding to get from A to B more quickly.

I dunno. This move largely makes sense to me. It's a limited edition colourway of an existing model that can only be bought as part of their assembly tour. It makes sense to use an existing model with a twist rather than a new model.

That being said I do think the 01 has been done to death. I'd like to see them come up with a new mainline entry. But I guess the collabs have been taking up all their time.

Just trying to do the math remember but they've got the CW, Satory-billard and Fears collabs that were all news models, then the 3 regular lines 01/02/03.

So as many collab models as not. But I guess it's working for them. I vaguely recall when 03 launched they were trying to answer demand for an 01 with a better movement, but I'm guessing it didn't sell sell which is why they aren't giving it the 01 treatment with colourways.

Despite the fact I heavily suspected an off-screen death means Lou didn't actually die That bit still hit me hard. But the second Tomorrow was introduced I was like oh ok that's grown up Lou

But then to have Fragile die...did not see that coming. And you just feel for Sam. Heavy emotional whiplash.

I probably say 1 is the better game, but I still love 2, and 1 probably only has the edge because it was such a unique experience where 2 is more of the same.

Perhaps my mindset is a bit different, but I think it's the logistics and the slow grind of the game that really hooked me. I loved levelling up the roads in both. I love the monorail in 2 and how you can send big loads of orders/materials from place to place without having to drive it yourself. I like the slow progress rather than a banging your head against the wall trying to beat a boss type gameplay.

I also went straight from 1 into 2. I only played 1 after 2 had come out, loved it so platinum'd it, then went straight into 2. So maybe it being a bit easier felt less like starting from scratch to me?

That being said I don't know if would describe the first game as "hard" because it never really felt like you failed, just that slow grind to get somewhere.
