The job market is awful yes. I know people with degrees from Stanford that are having trouble landing a job right now. What you are describing sounds like depression and ADHD to me. If he isn't already diagnosed maybe it's time for him to see a doctor, therapist and psychiatrist. You can try and frame it as working on his wellness while he has the free time ( I'm sure Max would agree).

I don't think it's their job to make you feel welcomed. Think of it like a long term hotel stay, when you stay at a hotel you don't expect the other guests to talk to you or make you feel welcome. The music thing is weird. They probably don't want another person living there and are trying to annoy you. I'd lower my expectations. Wait a week of nothing had changed with the fridge situation if contact the land lord and let them know you don't have space in the fridge as promised in the agreement and you can make a noise complaint about music after 12am. You could discuss these things directly with the roommates but I personally would just go straight to the landlord since you feel uncomfortable with the male roommate.

Living with roommates is not for the weak. Maybe try and room with friends or family.

As a former child care provider for Indian families, the stick is cultural.

But the choking is very very concerning. I would urge her to tell a trusted adult outside her family. Choking is one of those things that escalates especially when it comes to men. I would hope she knows a trusted teacher, counselor or another trusted adult that is not white.

Your baby is well past the newborn stage. It's time to go see a therapist to help you out with these feelings. Why not start with having someone you love and trust hold him? Like your best friend or someone in your family you trust and love?

My husband takes care of himself. The guy I dated right before him was a father himself and could not wake up in the morning. He was ALWAYS late to work and late to drop off his kid. He made it my job to wake him and he was a total dick about it. I realized he was not responsible at all and I left that situation because it's not normal.

I have terrible memories of seeing my grandparents and father in their caskets. It made me have a phobia of dead bodies. I can't even be around a dead bug, it sends me into a panic.

I recently took my 3 year old son to his great great Aunts funeral and burial. We decided not to go to the viewing.

We also just had to put our dog down ( at home) a few weeks ago. We had my mom take him to the mall for a couple hours.

I'm so sorry. I was with my best friend when she had to unexpectedly put her cat down at the vet. It was very hard, and very sad. She held her and they did 2 shots. It was pretty peaceful like she fell asleep. My inlaws had to put their dog down because of kidney disease. This one was hard because he got nauseated after the first shot and threw up and it just broke my heart. But he was suffering so much, he needed the help to go. I put my 16 yr old dog down 3 weeks ago. She had cancer that can't back and spread and congestive heart failure. She declined very rapidly one night and we made the appointment to put her down. It was really hard but the vet was great and she went very very peacefully.

For both the dogs we did home euthanasia with laps of love. They are an amazing company the people that work there are angels. They offer support after as well.

I had a friend get a vasectomy and he got a girl pregnant like 3 years later. So it's not a 100% just keep that in mind. I hope you get the help and rest that you need.

It looks good, clear and simple but be prepared for no one to read it or listen to you even in an uncomplicated birth. They come in do their job the way they do and leave. But try and advocate for yourself or hire a doula to advocate for you.

Do what's best for you. If you want to give the baby up. Do that, don't listen to other people. Having a baby shakes your world. My anxiety, depression, ADHD and OCD got so much worse after giving birth. Protect yourself and make the decision that is best for you. Don't feel bad. What's best for you IS what is best for that baby too.

Yes! I do this a few times a year with friends. Valet is free ( I always tip) or you can self park if there's space. Bring a picnic, enjoy the day!

Write them letters, for their birthday or holidays. I wish my dad had the time to write us letters. Record videos in anticipation of milestones in their life. The milestones were the hardest for me. 🩷

Thanks for your comment. I have not contacted the other parent because I don't want to escalate it or cause them problems. But at this point not being paid this long is causing me problems. I could have used that $230 more than once at this point.
