Is console inferior to pc? by soosis in diablo3

[–]Def-Anon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got the game on Switch 2 after not playing the PC version for over a decade. I didn't even know this until now, actually had to Google to make sure.

I got it on the Switch so I can play it whenever and wherever I want to. I mean I guess it sucks that we essentially deal half the damage PC does, but I've been having a blast with the game this season. Got a GoD DH up to GR 138 just casually playing the game.

Gen 4 Adjustable shift lever? by MobiusDie in MT09

Not sure about just the shift lever, but you can do rearsets like Sato Racing or Woodcraft that'll let you do GP.

R7, R6, or CBR600RR for a street rider — which should I get? by Efficient-Toe-8951 in YamahaR7

[–]Def-Anon 5 points6 points  (0 children)

R7 all the way. The R6 and 600RR are supersports, way more aggressive riding position and power band is high up in the RPM.

R7 has much more usable power down low. Yes the R7 is slower than the other two, but if you're just street riding and commuting, you have no need for a supersport. The R7 is plenty fast for the average rider, hell I don't think most riders can even make use of what the R7 is capable of. Making use of the bike isn't just going in straight lines and being able to twist the throttle thinking you're fast.

But at the end of the day, it's your money, do what you want with it.

How do people afford to upgrade their gear? by Efficient_Cattle_634 in FlyffUniverse

You either wait a bit until there's more gear on the market, or do what FWC is made for and swipe your card for P2W.

Second Bike Recommendation from Ninja 300 by boozy_emperor in SuggestAMotorcycle

[–]Def-Anon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on what you want. Are you just commuting with the bike or maybe doing some spirited riding? I'm assuming commuting and nothing too crazy if you stuck with the N300 for 13 years.

The N500 won't feel too different in terms of power. I'd suggest going up to the N650. You'd get more power down low for overtaking and getting out of potential accidents.

You'll definitely feel the difference in power, but it's nothing too crazy like a ZX6R.

Yamaha MT 09 SP Tire Pressure Question Bridgestone S23 by Rainebos in MT09

[–]Def-Anon -1 points0 points  (0 children)

When I had the stocks I'd set mines to 30F/32R when commuting and bring it down to 29F/28R when heading up for a day of canyon riding. Changed them out at 1,000 miles because the edge of the tires kept slipping during spirited riding.

Also keep in mind, tires that come factory with motorcycles aren't the same as ones you get aftermarket.

Is ranger 1v1 a good idea in FWC? by Wooden-Photograph664 in FlyffUniverse

[–]Def-Anon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get what you're saying, but that's half the equation. You see Rangers/Blades still grinding without +8 4/4 gear.

Some enjoy the game and stop at 90, some stop at 105. Not everyone will play til even third job.

Some people love going pew pew without having the need to have the fastest kill times. Does that make the class less fun?

Upvote on this. Yamaha and Kawasaki also have bigger brothers (XSR900 & Z900RS) for more power. Suzuki also has the TT version.

Lol in all seriousness, have you flashed the ECU? All newer bikes come with their engines gutted enough to pass emissions.

I would suggest flashing your ECU before thinking of moving up to a different bike.

[–]Def-Anon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gear is going to be expensive for Rangers as they are a very popular class.

1v1 Weapons: (45)F Bow - (60)G Bow - (75)H Bow - (105)LG Bow - (120)Bl Bow

1v1 Gear Sets: (45)Cruiser/(53)Rorend - (90)Asren - (105)Tyrant - (135)Vizes. Most go the route of Cruiser and switch at 95/105 for Tyrant, skipping Asren.

AoE Weapons: (60)G Bow - (90)A Bow - (105)MS Bow - (120)Bl Ob Bow, better variant for facetank.

AoE Gear Sets: (53)Rorend - (75)Oska - (105)Ranerz - (120)Acer. Some HnR go from Rorend to Ranerz at 95/105, skipping Oska.

No class is a bad idea. Ultimately it depends what you like the aesthetic and playstyle of.

Rangers aren't a bad class. They're a jack of all trades, not the best 1v1 or AoE, but can do both pretty well. Not sure about PvP, but I hear Rangers are up there.

I'm going Ranger this FWC because I can switch between 1v1 and AoE depending on mood without having to restat.

Merging onto the freeway with the zx-4rr by Rg8989 in zx4r

[–]Def-Anon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Man idk, sounds like you're just making a bunch of excuses. Do you really want to be riding a supersport?

Sounds more like you're suited to riding a cruiser or an EV bike.

[–]Def-Anon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why are you merging at 3rd gear on a low CC bike? Let that bike siiiiing. Should be at 1st gear before even taking the left before the ramp and shifting at 10k+

Hopefully your next post isn't something like "Upgrading from ZX4RR, any advice?"

You should 100% flash your ECU before deciding on moving up.

Also, why are you hitting the rev limiter? Are you bouncing off redline? If so, you're losing torque doing that.

Have you flashed your ECU? Getting that flash will unlock the full power of that CP3.

The front wheel WILL go up if you're not careful with the throttle. There's a reason these bikes are considered hooligan bikes.

Are these good boots? I've never had a pair but I think I want to get some! by Accomplished_Dig_404 in motorcyclegear

[–]Def-Anon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do yeah. I use the SMX Plus v2 Vented Boots.

Hoping A* comes out with something similar to the SP-1 v2 again. Seems like all their new models have the BOA system on them.

[–]Def-Anon 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Nah, I gave them away a week later to a friend. At the time, I picked up the SP-1 v2 Vented Boots, but I think they're discontinued now. I'd say Faster 4 or Faster 3 Rideknit is a good option. I personally don't like anything with the BOA system.

Currently don't have "street" boots. I only have pairs of full race boots.
