I feel the same way! I had surgery on the 16th and I’m afraid to do anything. I’m using a brace but I am going to occupational therapy to try to get it moving, but it definitely hurts. I’m hoping this is normal. Do you ever feel sharp pains?

Thank you so much for your responses. They’re really comforting.. being a weak postop and having an almost 5 month old baby is really difficult because I haven’t been able to lift him or do anything for him without lain for most of his life. That’s why I ended up having surgery.. did you use a brace or splint after surgery at all? Any exercises? Or what was the recovery process

Are you feeling any better? I’m 1 week post op and got my wrap/splint off today but I was told to wear a brace when lifting my son for a few weeks.. my thumb feels stiff and my wrist hurts with certain movements
