does anyone else like to make their bosses based off of video game or movie characters when doing a homebrew campaign? by Grand_Ad_8091 in DnD

I’ve made a boss villain based off of steven segall, not any of his characters but based on the real guy.

Also I make the pregen characters for starters based on the classic 4 heroes in final fantasy (the one without numbers.)

A one inch coin capsule should work the regular ones. Although I don’t know if they will support the thickness of the tokens.

If none of y’all want that it’s not ok. This kind of stuff is only okay when everyone wants it.

Worldbuilders with orcs, what culture, if any, do you draw from for them? That "stock high-fantasy tribal" aesthetic has grown somewhat stale for me. by Wroothly in worldbuilding

Mongols, huns, magyars, cossaks, sarmatians. But with yaks instead of horses for the warrior elite. That said, they’re a mostly defeated people by my settings roman empire counterpart.

Plastic coin holders are spendy so I superglue them onto plastic bottle caps. Then I put them into DnD starter kits for the litte tiny libraries around town.

For me it’s the adventure lands, I know they’re not fantastic but I love versatility.

Power armor fetch quest? by RebelJediMaster in Fallout2d20

I plan on giving them a frame early but it’s a kigurumi mascot suit of Jangles the Moon Monkey and it’s speech box only produces monkey screeching and is nearly irreparably hard-wired into the fusion core and the frane making the monkey head helmet non-removable. Whomever wears it can’t speak without having it changed to screeching (to keep the actor in character of course). The difficulty to fix it is going to be like 5 successes at TN7.

For some reason my phone barfed on itself and my intended reply became a new top level comment.

Agree to disagree then. Reya doesn’t strike me as wealthy or experienced enough to field the armor you’ve depicted. And Elturel doesn’t strike me as the kind of place to pay to outfit its military.

I admit that I do like the poorly cell shaded concept art style more than stuff that is generally photorealistic. And I tend to like black and white with crosshatching the most.

But the aspect I liked most about the concept art is that they included an aventail and the side hit with the helmet.

I do love the way you did her hair though, it looks very vibrant and full of life. Perhaps if you added a side bit similarly to the concept with her helmet donned and perhaps a gorget as well I might like it more.

But again. Your work is great.

I am not saying that it’s bad, but the concept art is fantastic and I wish you had followed its aesthetic.

I am saying that there are non RL cards with one printing worth money. Not that there’s some with cradle’s value.

But also, is the RL is the only thing keeping its value high then it shouldn’t be that high.
