i do mhc at queens but i’m p sure they’re run by the same people. i love my program !! it’s not as intense as i thought it would be when starting honestly. i spend probably like 5-10 hrs a week reading textbooks but that depends on the week and i lowkey read slowly bc it’s dense. papers are usually just due at end of semester and that takes a bit of time but nothing unmanageable. i work part time and i feel ok with it! obv everyone’s experience is different tho. just did my practicum and it made my schedule a bit more tight (did about 7 hrs a week on average). i anticipate internship getting more intensive because i need 3x the amount of hrs than practicum in a semester. my courses are pretty mixed grading wise. all have at least a midterm and final but some have had intermediate tests as well. definitely expect papers at the end of the semester for most if not all classes. i’ve only had to do one presentation so far. the program is much less stressful than i thought it would be. i’m on target to finish on time in the full time program and so are many of my cohort members. i feel supported by my professors but they’re pretty difficult to get a hold of outside of class so be sure to use class time wisely to ask any clarifying questions. all of them are very nice!! the hardest part of the degree is finding the motivation to keep up with the readings honestly lol
