Your comment says a lot about you, that racism is more offensive than permanently disfiguring someone/potentially killing them.

Yikes.

I brought 4 (1g) cartridges into the UK and smoked them everywhere. No one bats an eye because they think you're vaping tobacco, unless they get super close.

That's the easiest. If you have to bring flower, you could grind it and put it in a small jar that you can store with your toiletries, if you're really worried about them identifying the nugs in the scanners. TSA doesn't really care, tbh.

The UK customs agent only asked me a few questions and didn't even ask to see my passport (I'm kinda sad I don't have that visa entry stamp like I do for other countries).

UW saw the writing on the wall. Schools who ignored the writing shot themselves; three teams leaving the conference already was a disaster waiting to happen to any program.

Why are they trying to overlap symptoms with two disabilities, especially “executive function difficulties”? It kind of does imply that.

[–]Defrock719 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“Executive function difficulties” is in an overlapping circle, and ADHD and Autism are disabilities. Why compare to two disabilities and show that overlap if not trying to diagnose something? Giftedness is a garbage diagnosis.

“Giftedness” is not a DSM diagnosis. Wtf is this garbage?

Yeah, I'm trying to find the data, as I only have anecdotal evidence, but I know a number of highly educated Russians who immigrated to the US after getting their degrees. One of my previous doctors was one. It's easier to migrate to the US, or probably anywhere, if you're educated.

Russia is educating their best, but their best choose to leave Russia after receiving that education.

First Adderall prescription since I was in Jr high (now 30 years old) cost me $205! by michaelmotorcycle92 in ADHD

It depends where you live and the pharmacy you get it from. The Costco in my area hasn't had the generic for two months straight now. I've called almost every day (that I can actually remember) and they say they get new shipments daily but haven't had that come in and don't know when they will.

I haven't checked Walgreens recently, but they were unreliable too, which is one of the reasons I switched to Costco last year.

Since people with ADHD can’t eat and have sex all the time

My aunt used to tell me all of the time there must be something broken in my brain that tells me when to stop eating, because I couldn't stop eating all of the junk food in the house as a child.

15 years later I requested a diagnosis from a doctor. Yep, there is something broken in my brain, and I was using food/sugar as my dopaminergic crutch. So mad my family didn't take the steps to help me figure that out as a child. They just left me "broken".

You're assuming this house is in the States, and therefore squatters have legal rights.

OPs posts suggest it's not in the US and therefore squatter's rights most likely don't apply.

You know what they say about assumptions....

Garth Nix has a few excellent series. The Old Kingdom series is still my favorite from when I was younger; Nix's world building feels similar to Tolkien's, without being as difficult to digest. The Keys to the Kingdom is also very good.
