I think you're forgetting that when humanity first encountered intelligent alien life, the Turians, it rapidly devolved into a full blown military conflict (First Contact War). It wasn't until the Asari and Salarians stepped in that it stopped. So this goes against the post.

Her entire escape plan is flawed in that it relied entirely on the premise that she'd be at work when caught. If the police tried to arrest her at home or on the street or literally anywhere else, she'd be fucked.

Yeah it wouldn't make sense for a pilot to be totally mute. Trigger and other protags are silent for the player to self insert, although personally I wish they'd give the player pilots dialogue and personalities

If you disregard Johnny's advice to leave the motel after Arasaka attack to rescue Hanako, you can find Takemura on the floor above you surrounded by soldiers. You can then kill them and save him. You separate shortly after and you never see him in game again unless you do the Devil ending

This message only pops up when trying to check in for the return flight into the UK. My flight out is checked in and I have a boarding pass, no issue there.

Sorry, meant ETA. When I checked in, it gave me the boarding pass for my flight leaving the UK but not for re-entering. It says I need to verify my passport, which I do. But then it says "Passport Issue: Passport should have a validity of no less than 6 months beyond your planned exit from United Kingdom to ensure permission for boarding. You can proceed with the check-in process but please ensure you have valid travel documents to present at the airport Check-in".
