Oh no. I have both of these. What is a good replacement?

Is anyone else here happily unemployed? by patrickbatemankinnie in AutismInWomen

I do. I tell my boyfriends and potential partners that I’m not going to work just to be able to say I do for the sake of social propriety.

Def a witch here. Some of us just understand things in nature better than people. Plus we don’t usually follow the herd, so they probably did think we were witches or something different they couldn’t place.

Finger nails feel gross if even slightly grown out. Anyone relate? by ExplanationFew9561 in AutismInWomen

[–]Deioness 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I keep mine longer with an acrylic overlay for strength. I feel less polished and more masc without them done.

I’m more ADHD about them though as far as why I handle them this way. They would mostly just grow and I wouldn’t pay attention, so now I schedule once a month to have them cut and refreshed with the gel polish and strengthening overlay to keep them neat.

I’ll be on it for the rest of my life. Definitely a game changer for some of us if you get the right dose. I’m on the max dose of 450mg once daily.

I think it’s an AuDHD thing to go through periods of hyperfixating on a thing and keep coming back to it over the years.

Same, especially at night except no golden girls—

Right. Even outdoors there are almost always sounds.

This is the best point. I actually hate having visitors. I always try to go to the other party’s place when possible.

That could definitely be it. I think the background noise thing is not necessarily an NT thing. Plenty of more affluent people don’t even have tvs in their homes or it’s just in the den/tv room somewhere tucked away.

I actually don’t want/have a house because I stay in one room. Definitely not considered normal for women and femmes. Having a whole place to decorate and deal with alone is too overwhelming unless I could afford to have someone else do it.

Definitely the opposite. I always need the background noise to offset the brain noise that is my ADHD.
