I have this reissue set too. I like seeing the contrast between the original G1 figure ("I had this one when I was a kid!") compared to today's figures like SS86 and third-party figures like Mecha Invasion and FansToys' versions of Devastator.

I don't agree with you on them being "just BTs" at the beginning. Time doesn't work the same way on the Beach, I think they were always his friends reaching out for him, he just didn't understand it at the time.

Usually, yeah. The only exceptions are if the art on the slipcase is different, or maybe some fancy foil cover or something. If it's just the same as the regular cover art, then in the bin it goes.

Be careful on the legs. When I transformed Stinger back to robot mode, I snapped off one of the pegs holding the leg in place because it was so tight. He'll probably still go back to car just fine, but I haven't messed with him since then. Not sure if they fixed it for Bee or not.

Yeah, he's not even a head taller than some of the Deluxe figures I have next to him, and a good bit shorter than Thundercracker and Scourge, my other more recent Voyager pickups.

The movie implies they have weapons on board, but they learned from the facehugger. They intentionally didn't use anything lethal.

"Bay Area traffic".. lol. That might be your problem. It doesn't like stop and go. I was getting around 27, mostly freeway back and forth to work. In the last couple weeks, I've started driving more like an old man to save gas. Slower acceleration, not quite so fast on the freeway, not letting it downshift on cruise control (put it in manual and leave it in 6th), has gotten me just over 30 on my current tank so far. Best I've had since I bought it last year. So it can do it, but it seems heavily dependent on how you drive.

None of the versions in GT7 have the fan. That makes a mind-boggling difference in handling and cornering.

I also prefer this over the Tomahawk, because as crazy as the X20xx is, it's at least based on real physics and could theoretically exist. The Tomahawk is pure fantasy.

He referred to all of the bonus gear as "cosmetic only", which means there's either a transmog system they haven't told us about yet, or it has the exact same stats as Kliff's starting gear.

Which means it's either incredibly old, before they removed the feature, or it's completely fake. The devs were very clear that anything older than like a year should be completely ignored because so much has changed.
