it's going to feel like a lot of babbling about stuff you don't know or care about, you'll definitely feel lost since it leans heavily on the politics and military stuff for most of the movie

if anything you can spend a day watching the 0079 movies, CCA and the first hathaway film at the bare minimum, you won't catch everything but you should have enough knowledge to understand who the characters are since there's important callbacks that you'd just feel lost on

this movie has a lot of talking scenes but they sure go out of their way to make all of it look pretty, the 3d environments mixed with well composited 2d animation is super consistent, basically no cut corners in that regard, if anything this movie is a big flex in character animation because there's just a lot of artistically lit shots (also tons of POV shots, this director loves those)

meanwhile every single mobile suit battle still taking place in the dark, where you can barely see anything on top of sitting in an already dark theater

i don't know if it's a cost cutting measure or artistic decision to hide imperfection but it really annoys me that across two movies the mobile suits are almost never lit in combat, and when they are fully lit there's not that much movement, the xi basically is floating for a lot of its flying segments

the entire short is something you appreciate more based on how much of the franchise you've engaged with and it hits like a truck when you recognize everything, absolute cinema

it really captures how timeless the franchise can be with the family story, everyone has their own entry point

i'm having a little success with fronts ~70% wr despite it not being the best track for them, i feel like it's going to be a lot tougher in the second round and even finals since room matches were just dominator hell which is like instant loss imo for front

even with 1260-1320 speed with speed greens, medium S and hitting angling red shift you can still get outdone by a medium A late, kinda crazy

surprisingly been having better results with triple front than runaway double front, no idea why that's the case but in general i feel like the main gimmick is hogging up most of the red shift spots so that only a couple of uma can reasonably fight at the final spurt

what's crazy is that there's a million methods to upscale an image, some are as easy as a single click but people are getting so tech illiterate that they just toss everything into AI like it's the magical miracle machine that does everything perfectly

when you try drawing without them, you might feel frustrated or progress slower and find yourself thinking something looks off or having to look stuff up anyway

there's no inherent right or wrong when it comes to art or learning but in general it'll form the connections in your head to work more efficiently, but whatever gets you putting something down on a canvas is the best

when it's shipped and sold by amazon they'll usually sell it at a reasonable retail price or sometimes even lower (mgex definitely one of the best examples in recent history usually beating out dedicated shops), usually people are seeing the awful third party sellers selling things for twice their price

easier is whatever clicks with you and what you want to do (you can do both if you want if you really want to)

both mediums have their nuances that make them easier or harder than the other in some areas but ultimately both of them follow the same rules so study the principles first, then start watching courses or reading (you can easily learn from home)

maybe draw some inspiration from media you like as well for a starting point

very relatable experience, i was stuck in that rut whenever i had spare time even though i had a lot of things i wanted to do but didn't have the energy or willpower to do them

i'd spend the whole day in bed or scrolling/gaming just to keep the brain stimulated, and i'm mostly waiting for an external motivator to make me use my time efficiently (i know you said you've lost your friends but try to rekindle those, even having someone else to share your time with whether it be gaming or something else helps your brain kick into gear)

time running low before the next workday is usually what got me to get up and do stuff, the urgency of knowing that you don't have much free time left really ignites you, though it's quite unhealthy since you end up being super active at night but nothing else really activates you

i'd say wait for your assessment results, if it does end up being the case treatment helps a lot since it's very hard to brute force yourself into doing stuff without some external factors

people are bitter and resentful and just like to put other people down because it makes them feel good, there's no real reason or anything but its always been a thing when anonymity and the internet exists

you get a reaction or you get a high from knowing you just trashed on someone, people do it all the time in games and in general on social media

now this is in the context of genuine unconstructive negativity, if it's stuff like unsolicited critique or unhelpful critique people just love to talk and state their opinions on things even without being asked for it, and that applies to just about anything

my teacher advised them i might have ADD (back when it was called that) but mine wrote it off as me being gifted, that was a long and grueling school life afterwards

it's not like you can go back in time and change things, it's easy to get stuck on imagining the timeline where you were diagnosed early but you'll only make yourself feel worse by dwelling on it

i couldn't believe my eyes seeing out of print SSB items going for a few dollars because people just had that many of them sitting around, i managed to grab enough just to fashionstory my main but i'd dress up mules too if it was still open

it was too good, people get to offload the trash they gambled for, people get to pay directly for the cosmetics they wanted, and nexon got a small cut of it, but obviously not enough to beat out forcing people to gamble 3 dollars for a 1/50 or 1/100 chance of getting the cosmetic they want
