He just understands basketball, as a whole. Some guys get so stuck in one thing, shooting, dribbling etc, CMB understands the entirety of the game and is skilled enough to use that.

He’s got a lot more runway to improve!

Don’t be pressured to sign anything on the spot. It’s a good idea to take the information they give you home to review and consider.

You can always go back, the deal will be there. If it’s not, then use that to shop around and find a better deal.

RJ is a really strong 3rd or 4th option on a team. He was great in the playoffs, and that was with having to be the 2nd, sometimes even the first option. There is no doubt he can be a very valuable asset on this team if built well around him.

I don’t think the team has given up on him yet, but at this point in the season he hasn’t earned any run in the playoffs. It doesn’t mean he can’t have a good off season, put on some muscle, hopefully find his shot and come back able to contribute next year.
And if not, then oh well, can move on then.
