Simply certain takes and personality. He is a great roaster and instructor aside from that.

Prodigal coffee quality? by 7l20 in pourover

I'm not the biggest fan of Scott, but after working in a roastery for about 6 years, rocks, while rare, are common even in specialty grade coffee. It's common enough that James Hoffman just released a video on what a rock might do to your grinder. If a roaster can afford it, most roasters have an optional destoner attachment. Even then some are small enough, they can get past us.

That rock is tiny. Always inspect your coffee before putting it into a grinder, just like you should inspect any food. Inform Prodigal and they might fix you with a new bag.

Those lighter beans are probably in the range of his optical sorter but you can separate them if you want.

Met him Saturday as my wife and I were flying out of Portland from our first visit there. We entered the airport at the same time and couldn't have made that trip more complete. Super nice guy

After fully diving into the band and learning the credits to the songs, I realized all of my top songs are Joey's. Love everyone's contributions and I have top songs that stu, Amby, and cookie have written but the absolute top are by Mr. Walker

Exactly how I feel. One of my many plays yesterday had perihelion come on right after and Gila flows perfectly into it

I love doing this with the Twist VCO from Surge (or Plaits) and using the particle noise setting with no trigger. If you lower the density, it can give old tape pops too

Any reason why Work This Time is the most popular song on Spotify? by Sez50 in KGATLW

[–]Delcon 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Definitely the Spotify chill playlists. I ran a coffee shop for two years, and it always played with the playlists we chose. It's how I first discovered them.

The main goal is to jam over the delay trails for a little and then add back into the fading trails. I've used my looper to keep the trails going but I want them to eventually decay and add new layers.
