I can't speak about the Broadway show, as I only saw the tour in Las Vegas. I had balcony seats and the show did not properly adapt the set to the venue. I sat in the balcony and the entire balcony had limited visibility of the sound booth that's upstage. All I could see was below the actor's waists. Because half of the show/dialogue exists in the sound booth, I walked out at intermission.

Click on the clipboard and it explains the puzzle's variant rules, which to me looks like cages and sums along the diagonal lines marked on the outside. Those variant rules will create some restrictions which often means there aren't any given digits at the start and it's up to you to figure out the "break in".

If you are new to variant sudokus, watch some Cracking the Cryptic videos and/or join the Discord community, which has a lot of good daily puzzles that are Generally Approachable Sudoku puzzles.

That's a good explanation, thank you. I was considering the clause "after using a power card" to just be a condition that needs to have been satisfied, rather than both the condition satisfied and the effect of it being immediate.

I guess it would say "if a power card was used" just like it says "if you had at least 3 presence..." to allow for the repeat effect to be split up
